This is not your average vegetarian food made of tofu or beans. These folks really know how to make gourmet, tasty and filling food and it sure is a great change to be able to order ANYthing from the menu!!!

Intrigued by a vegetarian restaurant I went here but was very dissapointed. Food was below average (I typically enjoy vegetarian) and I felt the staff and food were pretentious, not to mention overpriced. I won't be returning.

Finally, a break from all the sweet based food at Carmelita! Inventive and smart combinations. The cold corn soup was an excellent education in contrasts. Some uneven service and the hostess could learn to greet you with a smile.

Great quality, eclectic combinations, small portions, not many selections, and high prices. Service is good, atmosphere fine, but unless you order a couple of appetizers and at least three entrees between two people you'll go hungry. Oh yes and did I say you'll also go away with a much lighter wallet?
