Service as well as food was exceptional. They have wonderful entrees to choose from but the pork chop was definitely something I would go back and order.

Went to this quaint bistro at my nephew's recommendation . It is a small and colorfully painted bistro in the northern part of Seattle. The menu is locally sourced . Fresh fish of the day as well as lamb shanks, beef and risotto are freshly prepared. It's not a fast food place, you will wait for quality food. The service... More

I've been to Stumbling Goat about 10 times now and tonight, AGAIN, I had an excellent meal. Afterward, my friends and I were commenting how consistently good they are. The butter lettuce salad is always a must. My friends like the blue cheese dressing, while I go with the vinaigrette. One time, I had a hankering for hot chocolate and... More

I have eaten dinner here several times with friends. I love the cozy atmosphere, and we are always immediately welcomed with a friendly smile. This time I ordered the wild boar Bolognese along with a spinach salad. Both were quite tasty. The small plate pasta dish was more than enough. In fact, I brought home leftovers. Some dishes my friends... More

Stumbling Goat has something for everyone, and it all seems to be excellent. There are veggie dishes and gluten-free dishes, small portions and large portions to choose from. I started with a lovely spinach and frisée salad with bacon, pickled red onion, hard boiled egg, red wine vinaigrette. Then I went veggie and tried the farrow cake with seasonal vegetables... More

Although the seating is a bit tight, as in many of today's restaurants, the food at the Stumbling Goat is expertly prepared and beautifully plated. The duck confit is a highlight of the brunch menu. Service was friendly and the cost was reasonable. It is easy to find free street parking near the restaurant.

The fantastic happy hour menu changes with the seasons and has something for every palate. The presentation and flavors are just as enjoyable as watching the awesome bartender speedily making scrumptious & colorful selections. We feasted on 3 perfectly prepared appetizers: mushroom risotto with large pieces of chanterelles and other types, colorful pickled quail eggs, and melt-in-your mouth smelt with... More
