Stumbling Goat has something for everyone, and it all seems to be excellent. There are veggie dishes and gluten-free dishes, small portions and large portions to choose from. I started with a lovely spinach and frisée salad with bacon, pickled red onion, hard boiled egg, red wine vinaigrette. Then I went veggie and tried the farrow cake with seasonal vegetables... More

It was SO GOOD that the 4 of us thought about making a monthly trek from Olympia just to eat here!! Two of the 4 have symphony tickets for Thursday and made reservations!!! Although the seating is a bit tight, as in many of today's restaurants, the food at the Stumbling Goat is expertly prepared and beautifully plated. The duck confit is a highlight of the brunch menu. Service was friendly and the cost was reasonable. It is easy to find free street parking near the restaurant.

The fantastic happy hour menu changes with the seasons and has something for every palate. The presentation and flavors are just as enjoyable as watching the awesome bartender speedily making scrumptious & colorful selections. We feasted on 3 perfectly prepared appetizers: mushroom risotto with large pieces of chanterelles and other types, colorful pickled quail eggs, and melt-in-your mouth smelt with... More

We have visited the Stumbling Goat many times since they have opened. They have never let us down. The food and the service are always spot on. They change the menu a lot, but they always have certain favorites on the menu. The pork belly, the bone marrow, and the pork loin are always excellent. We tend to order the... More

On Thursday, October 2, we entertained a UW guest speaker. We had reserved a table for six @ 6:15: ready when the first two of our group arrived. Our server was knowledgeable [I asked if they could make a negroni: "yes," and it arrived post haste], and when we all were seated, he recited the specials. We all ordered different... More

We had tickets for the Taproot theatre down the street so we wanted to find something close for dinner. After reading some reviews and seeing this place get mentioned over and over, we decided to give it a try. Parking isn't fun although perhaps because our reservations were early (5:30), we did manage to find something on the residential street... More

Very nice meal and definitely one of the best pork belly dishes I have ever had. I started with the Tails & Trotters Braised Pork Belly and the combination of flavours and the preparation was flawless. My entree of Confit Duck Leg was a bit disappointing however and on the drier side. I would have preferred a nice sauce or... More

It is a very nice bistro, the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed, suitable to everybody, and great if you wish to have a conversation without shouting. The food is really great, we had the Salmon and the Grilled grass fed Hanger steak , both cooked to perfection. The salmon comes with veggies that were just perfect. Fairly priced. Highly... More
