The goat doesn't stumble at all

Inventive menu, excellent preparation, generous portions, friendly and very smart service staff, plus an intriguing selection of cocktails. I enjoyed a superb Dark 'n Stormy -- the ginger beer was house-made and distinctive. Root beer is also house-made; our server brought me a taste -- an example... read more

Went for dinner on a Wednesday night. Though the food was excellent. We split a large butter leaf salad and then ordered the chicken and the hanger steak. Service was top notch. My only complaint was the temp. It doesn't appear that they have AC and it was a bit stuffy (even though we were sitting by the open windows... More

I made a reservation on open table for a birthday dinner (which is always a bonus because it is so easy). The place is small but very cute atmosphere. The menu isn't huge but has a lot to offer in the way of flavor and variety of options. We ordered the grilled octopus, cauliflower soup, pork chop (IT WAS HUGE), and... More

My husband declared this his new favorite restaurant. He had the romaine salad with dill ranch, the halibut special, and the gf chocolate cake. I ordered the hanger steak and while the flavor was good, it was too tough for me. Maybe it's the nature of this cut of meat. Everything else about this visit was great, including our server,... We prefer neighborhood bistros with great food and the Stumbling Goat delivered with delicious food and stellar service. The wild boar bolonese was well-balanced and gluten-free with a substitution of light and fluffy mashed potatoes to replace the pasta. Our guests both praised their qual and chicken dishes. One of the highlights was the skill of our waiter who could... More

I went to the Stumbling Goat Bistro for brunch with my friend and my girlfriend and every one of us thought it was delicious. We showed up about a half hour before brunch closed so it was pretty empty but I had read good things about the place before coming so we weren't worried. I'm not sure how busy it... More

We took advantage of this Bisto's Seattle Restaurant Week promotion (3 Course Dinner for $30). The atmosphere was warm and intimate on a rainy Seattle spring day. We chose from a limited menu (due to the promotion), but the food and the service were excellent. The kitchen was more than willing to accommodate our special dietary needs (we don't eat... More

We were so lucky to catch Seattle restaurant week atStumbling Goat Bistro. We were in town for one night. I tried to reserve on Open Table but had an issue so I called. We were about 15 minutes away and they said they could reserve s high top for us. Small bistro with a bit of outside seating. Decent bar... More
