Fake Maple Syrup

No good restaurant would run out of maple syrup and substitute imitation for the real stuff without saying anything. When I asked for real maple syrup, the waitress gave me a blank stare and said this was all they had other than sugar free. The menu says pancakes with maple syrup. A few minutes... read more

This is a reliable neighborhood spot with a good beer list and good food. Try the table-top smores! Our kids love it.

Set on Greenlake, with the foot traffic and scenery to take in, this is a great place to take a breather from whatever ails you. The menu has a Foodie orientation, a bit on the high side, with very little to suit a vegetarian. They are very willing to create things to accomodate...But, for me, a glass of whatever and... More

Our table of four had a mixture of lunch and brunch. The egg dishes looked good. My companion and my salads were heavily dressed, which defeats the purpose of eating healthy. The crab on top the salad tasted like it was from a can. We enjoyed a slice of a fruited bread when we sat down. We had good service.

I have pleasant memories of BluWater from over four years ago. However, reading some reviews revealed some rough seas until last summer. Happily, three of us had a pleasing dinner and came in time to enjoy Happy Hour specials. What's different? Talking to staff, we heard that as of last July, the original former chef revamped the menu, it's under... More

stopped in after high school graduation. We were seated promptly and our waitress provided great attentive service. The food was good and reasonably priced. I had the fish and chips which was excellent.

This is a great place to go on a cold rainy night. Get a seat on one of the couches next to their two fireplaces and relax with a meal and a nice drink. They have a nice atmosphere and some good food. Their burgers and mac n' cheese are good. Good beers and whiskey. Good place to take a... More

Bluwater was a suggestion from my step son who used to frequent it when he was in school at UW. We were in Seattle to have a post-Christmas gathering with our three 20-something kids. Wild Lights at the zoo was the target but we needed a place to meet up. My thought was Rosita's (see my tripadvisor review 1/5/12) but... More

We have been here twice now - will not be going back. Food is ok...not great...perhaps not even good...but ok. That said, it certainly is not tasty enough to compensate for the poor service. My GF and I came to the conclusion after two visits that it isn't a matter of being lazy or not caring...they aren't "bad" service people...they... More

Stopped by for late night happy hour, the sliders were over the top delicious. The happy hour prices make ordering a few appetizers a great way to have multiple tastings for less than the price of a meal. Although, the meals are equally as good. Parking can be a hassle, but worth looking for..............
