Went to Serafina for the first time to celebrate 2 birthdays. It was a Saturday night, so the restaurant was packed and noisy. We had a reservation and were seated promptly even though they very busy. The menu is limited, but the quality of each item was excellent. There were 5 of us and each ordered something differen. Everyone was... More

We were in town for the Seattle Marathon and ate here on the advice of a local. What a great tip! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Warm and welcoming vibe and the staff is not pretentious in any way (one of our pet peeves). The service, food, and wine were all top notch at... More

What a fun evening! Went out with another couple for dinner with a reservation. The place was packed on a Saturday night. We enjoyed salads (beet) and a cup of soup (sun choke). Entrees around the table included butternut squash ravioli, eggplant on angel-hair pasta, and the beef spare ribs special. The wine was Poliziano vin Nobile, a chianti. For... More

I've been to Serafina twice. Once for happy hour which I can say was wonderful. The place definitely gets busy during this time, I am sure with many locals as this is a pretty residential area. The drinks were great and apps as well. Reasonably priced HH. I also visited for lunch with my co-workers. While I will admit the... More

We visited Serafina on our last Seattle visit. It has long been a favorite of ours!! Still the same great food and wine. Service is extremely good and is very attentive but not stuffy. Eggplant is to die for. Also had the profiteroles and mussels. (Incredible sauce) While it is loud and very busy, we were able to get our... More

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Serafina. The place offered a very elegant and romantic ambiance; a piano and bass duo was playing good music while we dined. The staff was very professional and friendly giving us superb service. The food was very good, the perfect mix of elaborate cuisine that still maintained the home-style cooking feeling. We... More

Serafina is consistently excellent. We’ve dined here for years and never had a disappointing evening. The menu seems to vary appropriately with the seasons. Food is excellent with a wine list, though not huge, that has excellent options. It’s a relatively small venue but seating is very comfortable. The bar is small but friendly. Would recommend Serafina to anyone but... More

Even though it's a small thang . . I am still irritated by it . . It's like the airlines . . A charge for everything . . When you sit down you are asked, "Would you like our bread service?" You do not find out until your bill arrives that it's a $3 charge. Service was great. Bread, soup... More

This wonderful Italian restaurant is managed by great people who really prepare good food, BUT, I was greatly upset the other day when I went there to find that the restaurant was closed for a private party. The ENTIRE restaurant was closed to the general public! There was a notice on the door, but we had already driven over two... More

Just ate at Serafina last night with my hubby & another couple. None of us had been there in 10+ years and decided to go back...Sunday night over Labor Day weekend and the place was jumping. Glad we were able to get a reservation. It was a little loud since they had a live jazz duo but we quickly decided... More
