This is the classiest happy hour in Seattle. Great food, great values and great views of the water. You owe it to yourself to try it.

Very expensive and all fixings are extra. A $10 romaine salad was tiny and only the whites and no green parts. The meat was tender but the taste lacking. It was OK once you consider all the butter and sauce on it. The hostess told us the cows were corn fed. It would have been more impressive if they had... More

Always a great experience in fine dining. No better steaks anywhere. Wine selection is incredible. Great atmosphere. Loved it.

Was treated to a night out with friends while visiting their city. This was were they took me. From the setting to the service to the food and the view I was very well pleased this was their choice. This is a place you can go for a romantic evening, a business dinner or a great time with friends. My... More

Located on the east bank of Lake Union, Daniel's Broiler's is a popular restaurant for large groups, banquets, and intimate duos and one of three in Seattle of the Schwartz Brothers Restaurant chain. Overlooking a sailboat anchorage, at night the twinkling lights of Ballard make for a romantic setting. The dining rooms are dark with low lighting and low background... More

The steak restaurant: where you can go and spend a minimum of $52 or as much as $70 or even $82 for a broiled steak and some potatoes. I have got to remember that there is just no finesse to broiling a steak. A steak is just a big slab of meat. Don't get me wrong. I love a good... More

In town for a couple of days on business, and we ended up doing a private room meal here at Daniel's, which is a bit of a local celebrity restaurant and also apparently famous for its steak. Ummh! Now it is always not perfect when you have to go off a fixed menu for 15, but there really wasn't a... More

A major disappointment. Daniel's Broiler touts itself as an old-fashioned "chop house:" dark lighting, lots of dark wood paneling, leather seating. While having nice views of South Lake Union and a traditional interior, the food doesn't come close to real fine "chop house" quality. Unfortunately add the mediocre quality to the very high-end chop house prices, and you get a... More
