We had just finished going to the Northwest Flower and Garden Show and knew that we only wanted a lite bite. Daniels Broiler is located on the southern tip of Lake Union. They offer valet service and we were able to sit in the nicer area of their lounge. Even though the discount for Happy Hour is only on their... More

In town for a couple of days on business, and we ended up doing a private room meal here at Daniel's, which is a bit of a local celebrity restaurant and also apparently famous for its steak. Ummh! Now it is always not perfect when you have to go off a fixed menu for 15, but there really wasn't a... More

A major disappointment. Daniel's Broiler touts itself as an old-fashioned "chop house:" dark lighting, lots of dark wood paneling, leather seating. While having nice views of South Lake Union and a traditional interior, the food doesn't come close to real fine "chop house" quality. Unfortunately add the mediocre quality to the very high-end chop house prices, and you get a... More

Our 1st New Year's Eve out in 17 years due to being in the industry was great except for Daniels poor quality meats. Everything was wonderful until our overpriced, low quality, heavily veined and gristly entrees showed up! What a disappointment. This is the 2nd time I have been taken by Daniel's poor quality entrees, there will not be a... More

We enjoyed a great meal with excellent service. We went to dinner with friends to celebrate a December 23rd Birthday. The restaurant was busy with Christmas celebrations, but they had enough wait staff that it felt like we had our own waiter. The food was great.

Very nice view across Lake Union to Capital Hill as well as Queen Ann. Nice seating. Steaks were very good, properly prepared and served. While we thought it was a bit pricey, it was a very enjoyable dinner with romantic setting in the evening.

The restaurant is right on Union Lake and the view is wonderful. My son had made reservations for after the PNW production of the Nutcracker. It was my birthday and we had had a wonderful day up to that point. From the moment we were seated the evening did not go as I had hoped. I have eaten on 5... More

The ambiance of this restaurant is superb. The restaurant is right on Union Lake. The service was perfect and the food was awesome. Excellent meal. Will definitely eat there again when in the Seattle area.
