This terrific French restaurant had it all - interesting, delicious dishes made of the finest ingredients, wait service that made you feel pampered, a phenomenal wine list and lovely ambiance. In addition to the flavors, the presentation of the food showed alot of care and work. This was my go-to place for special occasions or if I wanted to treat... More

Not in the city center, you need a cab ride to get here and reservations. Don't expect to drop by and get in. The ambiance is fantastic. Chef was there and went to every table and spoke with all the guests. That made the evening!! The food was good, some courses great and others ok. Given that Chef Thierry has... More

A true dining experience! Don't go if you want a casual ala carte dinner. Follow their expertise including wine parings and you will be in for a treat.

This restaurant brought authentic French cooking to the Northwest; but, hurry the doors are about to close and when a new Rovers opens downtown it may not reproduce the casually elegant experience. The all tasting menus us locally sourced ingredients and French technique. The chef ( the Chef in the Hat) after all these years remains in attendance seeing to... More

This is a rare gem in Seattle. Our only true fine dining experience, from the the front of the house to the back. We went here last weekend (my 3rd visit-husbands 1st) and they beautifully and deliciously accommodated my DH onion & garlic allergy. We both had the 5 course tasting menu modified w/o the alliums and it was divine!... More

Our friends were kind enough to secure a reservation and alert the restaurant of our dietary needs. The kitchen had no problems converting the large tasting menu into a gluten and dairy free feast. There were times when the GFDF person's food was even MORE delicious looking than our own! If you are familiar with tasting menus then you will... More

Excellent service, and foods that focus on flavors! You will leave the table extremely satisfied. Great for foodies, and those that just enjoy a lovely night out.

Rover's is quite simply the best restaurant in Seattle. Chef Thierry Rautureau is the best chef in Seattle. Whether it is wagyu beef or rabit or lentils or sardines or the salmon mousse or the Symphony of Desserts or the wine flight-we had Oregonian, Californian, and of course French wines the last time we were there, Rover's is quite simply... Rover's is located in a beautiful courtyard which you enter from Madison. There is no parking lot or valet service but we didn't have trouble parking on 28th Street. I picked Rover's to celebrate my birthday and went for an early reservation on a Sunday night. We had an intimate corner table which added to the old world charm. We... More

It's such a shame to know this gem is closing in two months. The setting was relatively formal but warm and elegant, the staff knowledgeable, respectful and efficient, and the food divine.
