Waited 10 minutes to be seated...but they had almost no patrons. None of wait staff could seat us and hostess was lord knows where. Finally seated with time limit - Locks Cruise. Waiter couldn't take our order for some time - doing what? Very apologetic, but... Food was mediocre to bad. Tuna poke was tasteless. Squid was heavily battered with... More

Went for lunch. Very nice place. Great raw oysters and seafood. Much more casual than Elliott's with the same great food, and faster service.

My wife is from the Seattle area and we go back to visit about every year. I love going down to the waterfront and love the fish markets etc. We are from Houston and very close to Galveston Island so seafood is a regular meal for us. I wasn't sure how Pacific seafood would compare to Gulf seafood but we... More

May be called Cafe 56 now? cant remember, check said Elliott's Oyster House!! This was one of our mistakes in town. Small, dull, fish bar. Very poor servers. Rather poor cooks. Fried fish fillets (small) overcooked! Avoid.

Steamers has been renovated and changed to Cafe 56. If you cannot endure the wait at Elliott's, may as well go here as it is own by Elliott's. The menu is a pared down version of their next-door neighbor, so you'll find raw oysters, salmon, fish and chips, a variety of beer, etc. The price point is also much more... More

My wife and I are big fans of Steamers down on the wharf. They've been in business forever and every time we go to Seattle we have to stop and have the Alderwood smoked fish. She has the salmon and I have the cod or halibut. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the views are very nice.... More

Do not try this place, staff is rude and could care less about you or service. Food is horrible and almost uneatable.

When you stand in line to order food at a counter I guess you don't expect a whole lot. It was okay specially for the price. The weather was great and the tables were fairly clean. Your outside with the pigeons and tourists walking by. There was a boat tour place just behind where we sat that was constantly on... More

We actually tried to go to another place. However, the wait times were unacceptable, so we sort of stumbled upon this place. It was out 1st trip to Seattle. I had the grilled salmom, wife had the peel and eat shrimp. Both dishes were pretty good, price was very reasonable, service was okay. I would go back.

Steamer's is very casual with tables outside on the pier with a great view of the water. It's a fast food type cafe where you order at the counter, but they do bring the food to your table. The price was reasonable and the food was good. I had the pesto salmon sandwich which had a great flavor and the... More
