We went in to grab a quick lunch - my first shrimp scampi came out like rubber... But our waiter quickly took care of it and the following dish was amazing!! The service was great- food was great - view fabulous!

This is one of the best happy hours ever and one of the longest , it reminded me of going to a tapas bar , the oysters on the half shell were excellent and all the happy hour food that we had including the beer were very reasonably priced , also the view was excellent we are planning on going... The food was ok, nothing to write home about. The staff was very nice and helpful. We sat in the sleepless in Seattle spots by accident then the place was packed. The oysters weren't my favorite, they could have been colder.

Yeah, if you're a tourist and have extra cash to spend and like to see views of the puget sound then it's a fine place to visit. If you're a local, don't bother. The service is okay and the food is mediocre while the prices are EXTREMELY HIGH. So if you're interested in more than the view don't come here,... More

It isn't so much the food, but the location, view and ambiance. This was one of the first places I ate in the Market when I moved here in 1981, and it still has a fond place in my heart. That reminds me, I should go back again soon!

Sitting in the Athenian Inn in the Pike Street Market, is like taking a trip in a time machine. We used to go there when the Pike St. Market was a place to go buy fresh vegetables and fish for dinner, not to watch cute young guys throw fish around, (not saying there's anything wrong with that.) The market is... More

Food was top notch and all seats are window seats. Great view of the sunset and the Sound. Wild King Salmon was excellent as was the Dungeness Crab and Coho skewers. Service was very good.

Great salads and sandwiches. Decent value for a lovely meal with a view of the puppet sounds. Service was friendly and efficient. Try the prime rib dip sandwich.

Were looking for a nice place to sit down and have a leisurely bite after walking all around Pike Place. Not being super hungry, hubby and I decided to start with appetizers and then see from there. Hubby ordered the Penn Cove mussels and I asked for the crab cake appetizer. Our server, Sanae, said that I could get the... More

Although at the height of dinner-hour, we were seated quickly, way in a corner, which I originally thought was bad. But it was a front window counter, and I quickly realized how lucky we were to have landed such a right-in-front-of-you view of the bay, where you can watch boats and ships and helicopters and the cars on the freeway...
