We had three generations and there was something to satisfy every palate and portion requirement! Some had salad and apps and others entrees. Plus, it was in the hotel and very convenient.

We love oysters and found the baked selection tasty but the oysters were very small compared to what we usually eat. Our salads were delicious and desserts were amazing! We were even given a sample from the raw oyster bar. Service was ok but not what we expected from the ratings on trip advisor. Didn't find this resturant to be... More

Usually, eating at the restaurant of a hotel is a miss more often than not. Shucker's at the Fairmont Olympic was actually okay. Service was pleasant, albeit pacing a little irregular. The complimentary bread basket had rock-hard morsels that were inedible. My mussels appie was flavourful but way too salty. I have no memory of my main course. My friend's... More

The four of us were downtown for a little Christmas shopping and had reservations at 6pm. We arrived early and the hostess was able to accommodate us. One of my fellow diners and I split the seafood chopped salad which was good but not quite what I expected (especially for the price). One person ordered the beef burger which was... More

This is one of the few places in Downtown Seattle to get a nice (upscale) lunch. Very few places are open for lunch. the other reviews mention it's noisy. Not true if you get a table along the wall, they have little alcoves. nice and private. the bar is small and, yes, loud. Avoid that. There were several large parties... More

/we were really expecting an exceptional meal and were very disappointed. When we were told most of the fish were frozen, that was a turn off. Scallops were large and tasteless. Blackened Sea Bass was just okay. Both were served with mashed potatoes that tasted like they should be served at a fast food restaurant. Service was inattentive. Noise level... More

We did a girl's night out at the Fairmont--first we spent some time at the Spa (which was very good) and ended at Shuckers. The oysters were excellent and everything we ordered were very tasty. (All seafood). Here's a tip about parking---10 dollars at the garage next to the hotel for 4 hours if you spend time at the spa.

Shuckers is a great restaurant with a wide variety of oysters prepared in a multitude of ways. The seafood choices and entrees were incredible. Hard to decide which order. All dishes in our party were excellent!

During a November visit to Seattle, we decided to try Shuckers and it was a great decision. The service and food was impeccable. Started with Happy Hour with very fresh oysters and drinks and moved into the main meal at a leisurely pace - great service by the server. Fish was fresh and excellently prepared. Crab mac and cheese was... More
