Wild ginger brings back the fun of sharing

Loved this place during a recent visit to Seattle. I wanted to try most items on the menu, and can't wait to get back to Seattle. (So many restaurants have gone off the deep end nowadays, it's rare that I go to one that has a menu full of delicious sounding offerings, but wild ginger is one of... read more

What a terrific and wonderful surprise! I had the Buddah rolls as an appetizer and the seabass entree. It was truly incredible. The dining atmosphere was very comfortable - upscale with out being pretentious. The service was marvelous. My server assisted me just at the right times, but left me alone when didn't need her. I almost didn't come to... More

Enjoy this downtwon Seattle very friendly restaurant. Warm welcome, excellent menu with a wide variety of Asian-fusion food, mostly fish and seafood. You will be amazed by some of their banana leaves cooked salmon and the many shrimp dishes. Good wine list.

Friends and I decided to try this place on a Saturday night at the end of a work trip in Seattle. Were seated in the main area and it was busy. Our server was attentive, but not overly so. Always had drinks and full water glasses. We had the Buddha Rolls as an appetizer and a variety of entrees -... More

This is my go-to restaurant when tourist friends are in town, when I am going to the National Geographic lectures at Symphony Hall ( or music there of course) and for just about any downtown event. I have never had a "miss" there or even a near- miss. The Seven Flavors Beef is my favorite , although the lettuce wraps... More

Wife and I decided to try Wild Ginger after a sales clerk at Nordstrom suggested it. We were seated in the upper area and our table felt a little too close to our neighbours beside us. Bit surprising given how huge this restaurant is, but not a big deal. We ordered a number of dishes and overall the food was... More

We last went to this restaurant about 20 years ago when visiting Seattle. It was great then, and still is now. The small sate skewers are just perfect to share. The duck was wonderful. The noodles were a bit greasy, but they remade the dish for us, after we complained, and then it was much better. Pleasant staff and charming... More

Went for an early Sunday dinner on the recommendation of locals. found the restaurant a little impressed with itself and was very disappointed. Nothing was affirmatively wrong, just nothing special. Service was pretentious and overly formal, food was ok, but portions on the small side, and prices were on the high side. If you are attending a show at the... More

Lovely peaceful late lunch atmosphere added to the excellent service and food! We started with the Buddha rolls with pineapple dipping sauce, SO delicious! For our meal, chicken Pad Thai, and vegan Thai Passion Tofu, both excellent! My daughter lives in Seattle and eats here frequently. I will eat here again during my next visit!
