We stopped back in for a meal after two years away from Seattle. And we were rewarded with an excellent meal yet again. We had the crab crakes and french toast (it was brunch time!) and everything was fabulous. Etta's is still the place to go for a remarkable meal in downtown Seattle. The service is impeccable and well and... More

Etta's is located only a few blocks from the waterfront. It has an upscale appearance and a menu to match. My family, which consisted of My mother, her husband and myself, were seated right away and then left to stew in our own starvation for a good fifteen minutes. We had to wave down the bartender to get glasses of... More

If you like crab cakes, you're going to LOVE Etta's. But I have to warn you, no one else's will ever do after you've eaten these. You can either pay $18 for one or $32 for two. Spend the money and get two - you're going to want a second, I promise. They're all lump blue crab and little else... More

We decided to try Etta's for a seafood lunch with guests visiting from out of town. The location is convenient to Pike Place Market and offers a calm atmosphere compared to the craziness of the market . The service was very basic - no one went out of their way to be welcoming or informative. The food was good .... More

The food at Etta's, at least on this night, was mediocre at best. The crab cakes were bland, and the potatoes they came with were just barely a cut above diner home fries. My kid's salmon was lukewarm and the "rub" was just overpowering. My wife's shrimp, which cost a princely sum, were bland and overcooked. My youngest's fish and... More

Landed in Seattle and immediately looked for good lunch spot. Landed here, a Tom Douglass restaurant. First course was a classy uptake on a Vietnamese lettuce wrap - Dungeness crab, grapefruit segments, avacado, mint and a nuoc Cham vinaigrette! Awesome! Their "signature" rubbed salmon tasted like smoked salmon and frankly was just ok. Wines by the glass were good and... More

We were former frequent visitors to this restaurant, and were overseas for some lengthy time. We decided to go back and revisit an old haunt. Sadly we were terribly disappointed with the food. The service was ok, but the restaurant appeared understaffed, and the servers harried. The menu has degraded substantially since our last visit, and food served was of... More

Creative menu. Clams on appy menu were amazing. Avocado crab salad dressing was a must order. Josephine (?) our server was way fabulous. Great wine list.
