I was in Seattle for just one day so I wanted a good, local meal. I killed time by walking through Pike's Market (fun, but that's for another review) and asked many of the stall owners where I should eat. Etta's was a frequent reply. Since I live in Utah, I only get good seafood when I'm travelling, so I... More

Generally I expected to be wowed by restaurant sea food - I look for dishes I can't prepare at home. We were sent here after asking several folks for a seafood restaurant and we were told that the salmon was the best in Seattle, so maybe my expectations were a little too high. All that to say, the salmon was... More

After reading some reviews for restaurants in the Pike's Place Market, we decided to try Etta's. It was close to our hotel and looked inviting. We had the clam chowder which was very tasty and decided to share a salmon dinner. The "rub with love" seasoning was great and the split portion was the perfect size. I would highly recommend... Cruised the Seattle waterfront on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Decided that now was the time for our very own bivalve festival. Etta's beckoned to us with an empty table window side looking out onto the harbour. A gritty location with masses of crawling traffic, pedestrians and Seattle sunshine (drizzle) but truly the best of harbour front Seattle . Off the... More

There were four of us and all of us were absolutely delighted with the dishes prepared for us. The seafood was incredible fresh but let's mention the crabcakes first......we like to think of ourselves as crabcake connoisseurs and usually we find that the cake is more cake than crab. Not here, not at all. The fresh taste of crab and... More

If you are visiting Seattle, most of the time you are going to stay downtown, and, to be honest, there are not a lot of good restaurants in the downtown area. However, Etta's is the exception. A Tom Douglas seafood restaurant, Etta's has a few good staples in its repertoire to include the 'Rub with Love' Salmon and the Whole... More

we really enjoyed our meal here. We stuck with their highlights and we were not disappointed at all. The king salmon was perfect and the kale side was also good. The crab cakes were great as was the breads, although a separate charge. A bit noisy, a bit slow, otherwise would have been a five star.

Fantastic food and even better atmosphere. Try the calamari, it's top notch! Right next to The Market and a great place to people watch.

Located next to Pike Market, a convenient place for a nice meal. Enjoyed their amazing clam chowder to start. Non seafood lover had a nice flank steak dish, seafood lover had fish fry which in hindsight was maybe not the best choice - more freshly prepared dishes probably better. Quiet dining room and attentive service.

We were looking for great seafood and Etta's did not disappoint! The whole experience was great, from the excellent wait staff to the recommendations. The food was delicious and we were not rushed at all. They were very accommodating and suggested maybe we share one entree and then decide if we wanted another rather than ordering two.
