Enjoyable dinner

Average portion sizes but good quality and freshness. Had the fish and chips which was lightly breaded and not greasy. Fries are super thin and crispy. $15 for the dinner which I thought was a good value.

Etta's I had Etta's on my list however it was pretty cool when a waiter at an unrelated restaurant and a local that I was chatting with both suggested Etta's as well. Go figure, I've told you before that I'm a people person. Etta's is a stone's throw from Pike Place Market and is sandwiched between two other establishments. Since... More

Both Jose Andres and Tom Douglas would probably be OK with saying that one is the other-coast version of the other. We visited Etta's because of Tom's reputation. One place it pays off is the use of the breads from his Dahlia Bakery: fabulous salt-savored sourdough! We had the rubbed salmon because that is what Etta's is famous for, and... More

Our last day in Seattle was spent crossing things of the "MUST DO" list. We sampled some of the oysters for a snack but the real reason for our visit was the coconut cream pie. It didn't disappoint! Very delicious!

We're big seafood fans in general and it can take a fair amount to impress us, but Etta's did. My husband has now sworn that we are going to have Etta's "Rub with Love" Salmon with cornbread pudding every year for Thanksgiving! Other items were tasty and flavorful, but that dish blew us both away. The ambiance was fine but... More

As this was the weekend, only brunch was being served and there wasn't a huge choice of lunch entrees. We both ordered crab cakes - 2 for me and 1 for my wife - but we substituted a salad for the french fries. The crab cakes were tasty but pretty small for the price. The salad was very good. Our... We had been flying and our flight was late getting into Seattle. My Wife and I were exhausted and our minds were numb. We had read good things about this restaurant and it was recommended to us, so we couldn't wait to try it out. So we walk in, completely tired out after a long day, we have quite a... More

Meeting folks passing through town & chose Etta's for the Pike Place location. Been here a few times - happily the kitchen is still providing tasty food. Among the table selections were the 2 daily specials: Copper River sockeye and AK halibut. Both were exceptional. Flavorful, moist - thoughtfully prepared. Also ordered the Crab Cake, which was much enjoyed. The... More

While I preferred the crab cake that I tasted on the Savor Seattle food tour, the fish and chips wasn't bad. (I'm not really a fan of shoestring fries. They make me feel cheated.) I also didn't appreciate that every other table seemed to get bread and my table didn't. Our waitress seemed kind of not happy to be there... More

The food was very good we both had the salmon with the fries - they were outstanding. The food and wine list was fairly priced, the service was very good and not over the top. Definitely a good option for seafood.
