McCormick and Schmick's had become an icon in seafood restaurants before the 2012 takeover by Landry's. I have eaten in this restaurant a couple of times. It is consistently good with fine service and fresh fish.

I have eaten at McCormick's for many years but this is the first time I have reviewed it. Simply put I love this place. The service is always spot on and this time was no different. Doug treated me very well. I went for something light this time and had a ceasar salad and a cup of clam chowder. I... More

After a 5-hour-long walking and shopping in the steep and busy streets of Seattle on a cool February weather, a Seafood Gumbo at McCormick's was the perfect choice for lunch. My husband ordered something else but as soon as he heard what I wanted, he changed his order. As he should, because after a long day of walking, the McCormick's... More

An old friend and I scheduled a lunch at the Downtown Seattle McCormicks, but at the last minute, he couldn't make it. So, I went ahead and ordered their McCormick's Gumbo. I've had true Louisiana gumbo cooked by a native and it is hard for any restaurant to match this. The McCormick's version includes chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage and vegetables.... More

Some of my friends love to meet every year, in a new city, try out new restaurants and explore the place. We decided to meet in Seattle. We came here on a recommendation and were excited to try this place. We were immediately seated and our server offered us drinks. The food was pricey and there were not a whole... More

The menu is good as it has a good selection but this restaurant kitchen closes at 10:30. The tuna plate is good and on wednesdays you get prawns or oysters for a dollar each. Good eat bad place average service.

Ask to sit by the front window, where you will have an amazing view of Smith Tower. Service is exceptional. If you like crab cakes, be sure to order the Dungeness Crab Cakes. They were amazing! It is a very nice restaurant, so be prepared to pay for what you are getting.

As Aussie tourists in Seattle for the first time, we were relying on recommendations as to where to eat, and a mate who's been to Seattle a number of times told us of this restaurant. so we sought it out (it wasn't hard to find). Service by our waiter, Frank, was attentive. We were able to share a number of... More

Good location in downtown Seattle. Good menu, lots of choices. Good wine selection. Service okay, but server seemed a bit disorganized and in need of training. Food as expected, good but nothing special. A bit expensive for an average meal.
