Enjoyable Lunch at McCormick's

An old friend and I scheduled a lunch at the Downtown Seattle McCormicks, but at the last minute, he couldn't make it. So, I went ahead and ordered their McCormick's Gumbo. I've had true Louisiana gumbo cooked by a native and it is hard for any restaurant to match this. The McCormick's version... read more

Some of my friends love to meet every year, in a new city, try out new restaurants and explore the place. We decided to meet in Seattle. We came here on a recommendation and were excited to try this place. We were immediately seated and our server offered us drinks. The food was pricey and there were not a whole... More

The menu is good as it has a good selection but this restaurant kitchen closes at 10:30. The tuna plate is good and on wednesdays you get prawns or oysters for a dollar each. Good eat bad place average service.

Ask to sit by the front window, where you will have an amazing view of Smith Tower. Service is exceptional. If you like crab cakes, be sure to order the Dungeness Crab Cakes. They were amazing! It is a very nice restaurant, so be prepared to pay for what you are getting.

As Aussie tourists in Seattle for the first time, we were relying on recommendations as to where to eat, and a mate who's been to Seattle a number of times told us of this restaurant. so we sought it out (it wasn't hard to find). Service by our waiter, Frank, was attentive. We were able to share a number of... More

Good location in downtown Seattle. Good menu, lots of choices. Good wine selection. Service okay, but server seemed a bit disorganized and in need of training. Food as expected, good but nothing special. A bit expensive for an average meal.

Our taxi was late and by the time we got to the restaurant at 9PM we were pretty much the only folk there. I am sure the staff would have liked to close the restaurant but they never showed it. My oysters were small (but it was August) but very flavoursome. I ate the seafood linguine for main course. I... More

We were not disappointed by any of the dishes the four of us ordered. Trout, salmon and halibut. All delicious. The booth we had was comfortable and perfect for conversation. The service was attentive and knowledgable. Good wine list.

Looks a bit dated but I like the old-style feel. Great local draft micro-brews at the bar. Excellent service.

Great salmon at a reasonable price. This restaurant has been around for a long time, and knows how to serve great seafood.
