Classic steakhouse

My wife and I took our nephews to Morton's. We were visiting Seattle where they live. They had never eaten there. They split the Porterhouse for 2 - $124. I had a strip and my wife had Dungeness crab cakes. Appetizers were shrimp cocktail and escargot. Sides of creamed spinach and an gratin... read more

Yeah, best steak I've ever eaten in my life. Funny thing, the hash browns were better than the steak. Yeah. Hash browns at dinner, you ask? Good question. It's what they serve. And it's the bomb. Well worth the experience. Outstanding wait staff. I can't wait to go back...just gotta save my pennies.

I've given this place 3 opportunities to Wow me and they failed to ever time. The drinks are expensive and weak. Measured like a cheap suite~! Food is expensive and average at best for this type of steak house. You'd think they would up their game since MASTRO'S STEAK HOUSE is just around the corner. I've been to Mastro's 20X... More

The service at Morton's was great. Attentitive service and the food was timed perfectly. We were able to enjoy each course. I ordered the cajun steak and it was excellent. My husband had the mixed grill which was good (but not as good as mine). The forgot to place the scallops on his plate but when we asked they were... More

When making our reservation we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. On the table was a menu for us wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". The waiter, Rick, answered all of our questions. The escargot was so tender. The Morton salad was just okay. However the steaks were so great that I'd say memorable! I suggest that you order dessert... More

My wife chose Morton's for our 27th anniversary dinner. It was her year to choose the restaurant and I can't tell you how happy I was with her decision. We had the prawns with cocktail sauce which were as good as it gets. I don't think I have ever had a steak as good as the one I had for... More

Yes, it's pricey. But the food and the service are worth every penny. There are very few restaurants that understand RARE, but Morton's always hits the mark. And the cognac fois gras butter was to die for! Their hash browns and creamed spinach are our go-to sides and they never disappoint. Grand Marnier souffle is such perfect dessert--light, airy, sweet,... More

We enjoyed our dinner here. The food was great and the waiter's recommendations enhanced our meal. The steaks here are very good as are the sides and the desserts. Morton's is a great option for a steak dinner in Seattle.

I had a business dinner here and was not dazzled by the food. The ambiance was cool and service was pretty good, but I was not wowed by the food. I ordered a steak and it was not done to my request. The server never came back to ask how it was and I was really hungry so I ate... More

Entertaining guests recently at Morton's, I was reminded why it's an old favorite, consistency. It's that simple.
