The roast chicken was excellent. The Stilton cheese plate was good and the pot a creme was delicious.

More of a bistro than a fine dining venue, the restaurant is simply decorated throughout in dark wood. For our amuse bouche, we were presented with some foie gras parfait crostini with date puree. The parfait was too salty and killed off the flavour of the foie gras. The bread was a homemade focaccia which was soft and well seasoned.... More

We went to the Restaurant Zoe on a Sunday evening. The menu available in the Internet looked promising and we were not disappointed. I opted for the spicy wild board lasagne as an appetizer and it was just delicious. The main dish, a sirloin steak with polenta and various vegetables was also very good. Even though polenta is normally not... More

Great food. Original combinations of very fresh ingredients. Sometimes surprising combinations, but always in the good sense. Well prepared food, served hot to all the guests at the same time (bravo). Impeccable service. Noise level in the "atrium" (the part of the restaurant that can be opened to the outside when the weather allows) was very acceptable. Great wine list... More

My experience tonight at Zoe was a disappointment although the eveing did lead to some thoughts about restaurants and rating them. Can an absolutely outstanding waiter save mediocre food? The answer is clearly no yet at Zoe our waiter – my wife and I together for dinner – was a phenomenal server. Along with being personable, he knew the menu... More

The Good: Awesome service! The servers were really great. I also love the interior, it's a beautifully decorated space. Very 'modern barn' but it really works. The technical preparation of the food was also quite good, for example, my duck was perfectly cooked. Presentation was top notch, the food looked beautiful. The Bad: The actual taste of the food was... More

The food was very good, and the service even better. The hostess was particularly welcoming both when she was seating us and at the end of our meal. We had the steelhead (isn't that a state of mind?) which was perfectly cooked. The restaurant happy hour, which they call oyster hour -- goes until 6:30, and yes, it does include... More

Perfect for a quiet dinner or a celebration, this was the ideal place for a birthday party of 12 people last night. Menu is fresh, local, and seasonal. Stylish and solid. Staff was SO very nice and graciously accommodated a few special birthday requests and some dietary restrictions we had. I have always had a good experience here and will... More

Restaurant Zoe was the perfect place for the special celebration with a party of seven. The room, decorated in warm tones, wooden tables and comfortable chairs and banquettes, was cozy enough for conversation but loud enough to feel festive. The service was excellent, especially Craig, a fantastic waiter who was attentive without hovering. Although the items on the menu stay... More
