Great food and outstanding service

The food was very good, and the service even better. The hostess was particularly welcoming both when she was seating us and at the end of our meal. We had the steelhead (isn't that a state of mind?) which was perfectly cooked. The restaurant happy hour, which they call oyster hour -- goes until... read more

The Good: Awesome service! The servers were really great. I also love the interior, it's a beautifully decorated space. Very 'modern barn' but it really works. The technical preparation of the food was also quite good, for example, my duck was perfectly cooked. Presentation was top notch, the food looked beautiful. The Bad: The actual taste of the food was... More

Perfect for a quiet dinner or a celebration, this was the ideal place for a birthday party of 12 people last night. Menu is fresh, local, and seasonal. Stylish and solid. Staff was SO very nice and graciously accommodated a few special birthday requests and some dietary restrictions we had. I have always had a good experience here and will... More

Restaurant Zoe was the perfect place for the special celebration with a party of seven. The room, decorated in warm tones, wooden tables and comfortable chairs and banquettes, was cozy enough for conversation but loud enough to feel festive. The service was excellent, especially Craig, a fantastic waiter who was attentive without hovering. Although the items on the menu stay... More

First time at this restaurant. It's one of the best we've ever had on Capital Hill! We had the beef tartare and the spicy wild boar bolognese to start. The bolognese was amazing - I wish they had this in a full entree size! The tartare was good but served uniquely with paper thin chips and some sort of hot... More

We had a big reunion here the other night with eight adults and two babies. The staff couldn't have been nicer accommodating our group with various demands about the kids, food choices, on-going needs for more cocktails, etc. LOVED it.

Had a large party at this establishment. The appetizers were simple but excellent quality. We had a wide variety of dishes served and they were all nicely done and well finished. The service was very accommodating. Good value for a large party with well prepared food.

I really wanted to have a good experience at Restaurant Zoe, especially after reading the reviews from fellow diners. But alas, this is a restaurant to which we will not plan to return. The occasion was special - a celebration of my daughter's marriage a week ago in NYC. The hostess was accommodating by email, although I found it odd... More

One of the dinning stars of Seattle is Restaurant Zoe. The menu offers a wide variety of starters/sides from which to select the openers. Could not have been happier with the marinated olives, charred cherry tomatoes with the shishto peppers, and roasted cauliflowers. Well, now to the mains. Yes, when in season do opt for the King Neah Bay King... More

This was a great restaurant! Attentive staff, relaxed atmosphere and five star meal. We ordered the five course tasting and were delighted with each new offering. Both my 21 yr daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
