Simple yet amazing tastes

Restaurant Zoe can be found in the Capital Hill area on Union Street. While the menu is a bit limited there are more than enough options to satisfy almost any tastes. There salads are fresh and well prepared as is there variety of seasonal soups. I had a pasta dish and my work colleague the... read more

We really liked this interesting space in Seattle's Capital Hill neighborhood, with an inventive, fresh menu and an industrial feel. At happy hour, oysters were a delicious bargain, along with tasty brussel sprouts and some great beers.

Went for a birthday dinner with my husband and parents. Ambiance is comfortable and lively. We had two suggested starters - both delicious and unique. All four entrees were spot on. Presentation was beautiful and the flavor profiles were creatively complex. This was our second visit to Restaurant Zoe, and it was as reliably enjoyable as the first! Highly recommend.

It provides a good atmosphere and has an excellent bar and wine list at reasonable prices, but we were attarcted more by the appetizer menu and not the main menu. The wine was fantastic at a reaonable price and the appetizers delicious! Highly recommend the steak tartare. However, The main menu only has 4 or five things and none were... More

Especially on a Sunday, it is nice to find a restaurant this good without going downtown to the hotels. A party of 4, we shared 4 appetizers (wild boar pasta exceptional, cheese plate and gnudi quite good, mushroom special just ok). Very short list of entrees; the sablefish and especially the short ribs were excellent (ribs must have been done... More

It was a wonderfully cool, clear evening and we chose to sit on the open patio. Although this is located on a busy corner, the vegetation makes one feel like they are in a very attractive, and quiet, private (well, semi-private when there are other diners) garden. The staff was friendly, the sommelier knowledgable (and helpful). The food was artfully... More

Arrived without reservations on a weekday but able to be seated at table instead of bar. Excellent service and a nice wine list with knowledgeable sommelier. Food very toothsome but as with fine dining portions rather petite. My duck was cooked to perfection. Will return especially on Mondays when most bottles of wine are half price.

Zoe is the paradigm of northwestern haute cuisine served casually and perfectly by an incredible staff. I've been eating at Zoe since they opened in Belltown and followed them to Capitol Hill, where the food continues to wow. The five course chefs tasting menu is everything. Don't miss this place. Or the Rosemary margarita or anything involving wild boar.

We are at Restaurant Zoe recently, and had a really nice meal. It was a warm evening, so we sat outside in their enclosed patio. It was just perfect. The food was delicious. We had a Wild Boar Bolognese appetizer that was scrumptious. And, I had the most amazing crab stuffed ravioli for dinner. Finished up with house made cookies... More
