My first and probably last ever visit to Ruth's. The steak was decent, but selling a stake for $50 and not offering any sides in that price? Really? The steak came on a plate that looked like somebody actually cooked in it... This might be the norm, but I will take "The Keg" any time over this.

Ruth's Chris is one of those iconic steak houses around the country that one can depend on to provide good service and quality foods. While this location is in a hotel it is still Ruth's Chris! I generally eat here several times year when in Seattle

We went to have a late dinner for our anniversary and we were treated so well! The server went above and beyond with a champagne toast and a beautiful dessert. They even decorated our table. It was the little touches that were so nice. I HIGHLY recommend if you are celebrating something go here - they do it right! The... More

Friends wanted some good meat to eat so we assumed, from reputation and our experiences in Seattle and elsewhere, that for this we should go to Ruth's Chris. We were hugely disappointed and somewhat embarrassed to have shown this to our friends from overseas as "the place for steaks" in Seattle. Our reservation was handled efficiently but on arrival we... What incredible service and food! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Reservation times were scarce so be sure to make a reservation a day or two in advance. If you're attending a show at the Paramount Theater up the street be sure to let your server know if you need to be there by a certain time. We mistakenly didn't allocate... More

Ruth Chris’s is a chain of overpriced restaurants with a great marketing department. We might have enjoyed it more if we had been on an expense account. We were not. Although our filets probably were cooked to perfection in an apparatus hot enough to melt metal, they quickly overcooked at the table. Why? They serve their steaks on an 800... More

I don't mind spending a lot for a really good steak - I know that a filet at a decent steak house will run you $35+ without sides. However, you would think that a decent steak house would get the doneness right on a $40 steak, especially when the restaurant is almost empty. And even if you're not going to... More

You can't really go wrong with any Ruth's Chris so this is a solid choice for an upscale steakhouse. According to the lady maitre d', this is the only Ruth's Chris in the country serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ideally located inside Grand Hyatt Seattle, great choice of different meat cuts, wide choice of wines and drinks and great service.

My wife and I dined here on our anniversary without a reservation. I had planned to go somewhere else, but after checking into the hotel, my wife saw the restaurant and said she was really craving a good steak. So off we went and five minutes later were seated at a private table. It never got loud in the restaurant... More

I went in hoping to find a good steak. What I found instead was great waiters who really tried hard but a kitchen that let them down. With no reservation on a thursday night, but dining alone, the staff were happy to seat me. The warm bread was exceptional and I was really looking forward to the meal. A good... More
