Great Food and Great People, Excellent Value

Machiavelli's is my favorite restaurant. Living in Seattle this is a bold statement considering the massive amount of good places to eat around the area. I've been going here for years. It's really good consistent food. If you don't consider the filet mignon the most expensive entree is around $17. The filet is $34 I believe. This is a pretty... More

This is our favorite Italian Place in Seattle. We like the atmosphere, but make sure to get here early as you'll be waiting. The food is well worth the wait and it's not hard to find a spot around the bar area to enjoy a drink in the mean time.

This highly recommended establishment was only a very short walk up Pine St from the city center. As predicted there was a line up at the 5:00pm opening time, and it took no time to find out why. A small menu but good choices, excellent quality entrees, and that in house baked bead was outstanding. A very good meal, served... More

Long wait. Worth it! Deliciousness guaranteed! Penne with Red Pepper Pesto, Pasta Carbonara, Lasagna and mixed green salads...ALL SUPERB!! Wildly long wait...more than an hour...but staff is friendly, efficient and upbeat. This place is a resounding YES....if you are willing to WAIT.

This is a small, cozy, local restaurant with great food. Not sure if they take reservations as we just showed up. Had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for 4. The wait was worth it. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates true Italian style cooking. We found the prices for the food to be reasonable... More

I love this small restaurant in Seattle. It is definitely a hidden gem. The doors open at 5pm and you should plan on being there when they open. It is small and once the tables fill up, you will need to wait (and there is always a line). The food and the service are well worth the wait. Their lasagna... More

Spent a week in Seattle and had several really good seafood meals, but this was a pleasant change of pace. I call it Italian (I don't care if real "Italians" say it is something else.) and I call it very good. The reason we went there was all of the good reviews we were reading on Trip Advisor. They were... More

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this! What amazing food. We both ordered the lasagna and Caesar salad. The bread with dipping oil was superb! Wish we had a place like this closer to our home! Yum yum!

I had the veal piccata and my wife had a pasta special. Both were delicious. We ate there on a Wednesday and night and it was full primarily with locals who appeared to be at home. Always a good sign. A friend had recommended Machiavelli's and we recommend it as well.
