In search for Italian

We picked this restaurant based on Yelp and Trip Advisor reviews. As to the main dish it definitely deserves more like 2 stars....I've tasted a lot of Italian and maybe us tourists from the S.E. are used to more exquisite tastes. The wait as indicated by everyone is definitely no joke. We are... read more

Checked this place out based on Trip Advisor and Yelp reviews. Very small place, to the point where your chair and that of the person behind you are touching. Service was very friendly and very good. The bread was fantastic, and along with the Caesar salad was perhaps the highlight of the meal. I had the carbonara. The pasta was... More

Based entirely on Trip Advisor reviews, our family tried Machiavelli Ristorante for an anniversary dinner. The food was pretty good - collectively we gave it a B+ - but the service (with the exception of Kathy) was uneven at best and awful (Mike) at worst. As many of the previous reviews described, Machiavelli Ristorante is a small, neighborhood place that... More

This was awesome. I wouldn't recommend taking the kids but friends or date night it's perfect. The only downside is the wait but trust me it's so worth it. The staff is so friendly and fun. This is one of our new date night places I love it. Please understand this is a locals place, it's small and not a... More

This place is small but quaint and full of charm! No reservations so be prepared to wait! We arrived around 7:15 on a Saturday night and had about a 30 minute wait which was not to bad! We had wine and cocktails in the small bar. However, by the time we left people were hanging outside the building waiting for... More

Considering that good Italian is hard to come by in Seattle, those who love the cuisine will want to visit this restaurant. The restaurant itself is very small and no-frills, and there is usually a long wait (I waited for over an hour), but the food more than made up for it. The tuna carpaccio was *amazing* and the puttanesca... More

Charming place with excellent, authentic Italian food. It's quite small inside so you must get there early or you'll be waiting in line.

Machiavelli's is my favorite restaurant. Living in Seattle this is a bold statement considering the massive amount of good places to eat around the area. I've been going here for years. It's really good consistent food. If you don't consider the filet mignon the most expensive entree is around $17. The filet is $34 I believe. This is a pretty... More

This is our favorite Italian Place in Seattle. We like the atmosphere, but make sure to get here early as you'll be waiting. The food is well worth the wait and it's not hard to find a spot around the bar area to enjoy a drink in the mean time.

This highly recommended establishment was only a very short walk up Pine St from the city center. As predicted there was a line up at the 5:00pm opening time, and it took no time to find out why. A small menu but good choices, excellent quality entrees, and that in house baked bead was outstanding. A very good meal, served... More
