Lovely view overlooking Pike Place Market to accompany seasonally-inspired dishes. Unique combination of ingredients clearly display chef's talent for inventive dishes. Save room for every course because you'll be sorry to miss out on any one. more
I had dinner at Matt's and could not have been happier with this choice of restaurant. The menu is largely derived from what is purchased at the Public Market which is literally just feet away from the restaurant. I had a window seat that allowed a view of Puget Sound and the sunset, as well as the iconic Market sign.... more
Small joint in the heart of the Pike Market, where fresh ingredients are abundant, genius. An open kitchen and a brigade of youthful men and women turning out stunningly beautiful food. Table's need to be reserved way ahead of time, specially if you want the romantic view of the famous Pike Sign, though we were quite content by the bar,... more
This restaurant, on the third floor, overlooks the main entrance to the Pike Place Market. Excellent food and beer! more

All three courses were superb - wonderful, fresh ingredients prepared in unusual and delicious ways. The service was excellent, friendly but efficient and the atmosphere casual and relaxing. Yes, it was expensive but worth every penny. more

To begin with, they kind of bill themselves as seasonal and local. Well our experience was anything but; one special of snapper was from New Zealand! The scallops; from Maine!! What with Pike Market and all... more
The food was very, very good comfort food and the wait staff attentive. Were seated for lunch around 12:30 mid-week without reservations. A somewhat limited menu and wine list but I can't imagine being disappointed in either. Just a lively place to unwind. Made my wife and I very happy. We will return shortly for a rerun. more
We stopped in for lunch about 10 minutes before Matt's closed for lunch. We were seated with a smile at a window seat overlooking the water and not rushed at all . We had the lamb burger with a side salad and the grilled salmon sandwich with a side salad. The lamb burger was the best I have ever had,... more
