Good but not all that

First of all we were very glad we made reservations because it was packed! This was the first problem because the noise level was over the top. Also our waiter was running around like crazy so we really thought they could have more waiters. The food was good just not great. We had the oyster... read more

I can't say enough good things about Elliott's. I have actually booked weekends in Seattle just because I am craving their delicious food. They put your name, birthday, favoite table etc in the computer so they can remember you and what you like. i once ordered the special, not on the menu, dungeness crab encrusted salmon which melted in my... i took my brother, who lives in Virginia, to Elliots in late November.......the service was great, the oysters on the half-shell were fresh and well presented........great view, too.........however, the menu for such a nice place could be expanded, with a few more choices of seafood offered......well worth the trip, however.........plenty of room for a large party, or a quiet corner... Couldn't resist hitting up the oyster happy hour. Husband and I got there about 30 minutes early and grabbed a seat at the oyster bar. Drank a few local beers and had some chowder while we waited for happy hour to start. Everything was delicious. The oysters were fresh and from a place not too far from Seattle. Four stars... More

We had dined here in Nov 2011 (see my previous review) and were looking forward to going back. To our dismay, when we pulled into a parking lot across the street, we learned that Elliott's, Ivars, and several other Alaskan Way restaurants have closed due to a construction snafu which has shut down several businesses in the area. My present... More

This restaurant was very good in the past, but seems to be lacking now! Service was excellent, but the food prep quality and flavor was poor for this price point. Enjoy the view, but will head back to the wharf for seafood

Had a great time at Elliot's. I am an oyster fanatic. They had over 2 dozen different species of oyster to choose from. I was able to try multiple kinds of oysters that I had never tried before. It was great. I was there with my family. A little pricy, but it's on the seafront and they have quality seafood.... More

Don't like oysters but I decided to be adventurous. I ended up liking the ones they gave me! They were sweet and delicious. They had a tasting menu so I tried a few different options. If I enjoyed them then I'm sure an oyster fanatic would be in heaven. It is a bit pricey.

Venturing into Elliott's Oyster House, located on the pier area of Seattle's waterfront, you'd fear a hipster seafood eatery with upscale decor and a scenic setting but food that doesn't measure up. Wrong. The seafood at Elliott's is top-notch (my family ate there twice during our short stay in Seattle). The crabcakes are divine, and the varied fish options are... More

We sat outside and had a beautiful view across the Bay. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent! The restaurant has a large beautiful bar. Will eat there again!
