Great outdoor patio, view and good food

The mussels are outstanding! The salmon was very good although a bit dry. The degustation dessert option is awesome: you get to taste 4 different desserts in perfect amount for two. The restaurant has a great view of Seattle's Pier and the Great Wheel. The outdoor patio is very pleasant and... read more

I have been going to Maximilien's for six years, always with delight. Our experience tonight was not up to standard. The menu was very short, the wine very expensive and the service chaotic, even though the restaurant was not full. It took us 15 minutes of waiting to be seated (with a reservation) and when our meals arrived one was... More

the food was ok other than steak tartar that was so spicy I could not eat it, one thing that bother me was the fact that the champagne that I order was out of stock on a Saturday night forcing me to order one that was $60-70 more, server comment oh that much better. I think this was an upsell... More

Food was excellent. Wine was excellent. View was excellent. Not sure what else to add. A little on pricier side, but definitely worth it if you want a nice meal out. Definitely make a reservation.

We went for a place to sit & relax at Pikes Market. Their afternoon menu was light but the quality was very high, and their prices matched them. The views on a clear day are the best.

Beautiful setting, very good food. I would definitely come here again. The wait staff was pleasant and accommodating.

This French bistro overlooking the Sound was a welcome surprise to my group of tourists visiting Seattle from Puerto Rico. We caught the last glimpse of the sunset and stayed for a quick bite and some local wine. While all the food was good, nothing was that spectacular, and the price point was a bit high for what we were... More

A few years ago we would go to Maximilian on a winter evening, enjoy a good French bistro dinner, and watch the lights of the ferries slide past in the rain. This visit was mid-summer, height of the tourist season, and both the vibe and the quality were completely different. Service was perfunctory and rushed (clearly a pressure to turn... More

Food and service are ok, not great and pricing is high for the experience. If you go during the day the view is very good but at night you can't see much. Café Campagne and Le Pichet both offer better food and value.

We have eaten here many times and always enjoy the food and ambiance. If parking at the Market weren't such a pain we'd be here a lot more. As it is, we often bring out of town guests for a treat. The view always wows them. I recommend early brunch on weekends. Not super-busy and just the right dishes, well... More
