I enjoyed my meal here. I've had halibut three times this week in Seattle and this was by far the best. Service was fast on the appetizers and entrees (we both remarked on how fast), but then when we ordered dessert for whatever reason it took like 20 minutes to bring out a piece of cake. The atmosphere was a... More

With only one night in Seattle, we were looking for seafood and a sunset somewhere in the Pike's Place Market area. I had picked Maximilien from the TA reviews and it was just what we wanted. In spite of being slightly late for our reservation, we were seated at a lovely table on the terrace. Oysters, scallops and salmon all... More

Amazing little place - great wine list and menu nestled in Pike Place market. The property itself is small and quaint which makes it the perfect little romantic spot! As it was my girlfriend's birthday we got an amazing window table - which when we arrived had rose petals on it, along with some chocolate truffles and promptly two Brut... More

What a nice surprise to arrive here after walking thru the bustling, loud, dirty marketplace. The ambiance is warm and the views are lovely. The menu is not typical touristy seafood. Loved the oysters and lemon ice sauce. The sparkling rose was dry and crisp. The foie gras duo had nice portions of both the seared and the pâté. My... More

We wandered in here late on a Thursday night after spending the day sightseeing. We wanted someplace to celebrate my brother and sister-in-law's anniversary, but were not dressed fancy. Maximilien's had been recommended to me, but I wasn't aware how fancy it was. The maitre'd greeted us in French and asked if we had reservations, which we did not. He... More

I found this restaurant while wandering around pikes place market during a long layover in Seattle with a friend. The staff was friendly and courteous. We dropped by for an early lunch and were seated right away. Both patio and indoor starring are available. All seats feature a fabulous view of the sound. I ordered the special of the day... More

This French themed restaurant is located at Pike Market, close to the famous fish shop. We had the duck and the lamb burger, both of which were very good. There is inside and outside seating, and the view is outstanding – we could see the Puget Sound and, in the distance, the Olympic Mountains. Service was good.

We met friends here for their happy hour and were so glad we made this choice! The happy hour offerings were very diverse and gave us enough for a filling dinner. Our server was so fun and attentive. The escargot was perfect, the bread delicious, the pomme frites oh so good and so many more delicious plates. Their chocolate sampler... More

It was our first anniversary on 5th July and we were visiting Seattle, and wanted to choose a perfect restaurant for the evening. This restaurant was the answer to all that we could ever think of. The setting, the hosts, the food, everything suited us perfectly. We got a table facing the bay and a view of the ferris wheel... More

Serendipity lead us to Maximilien Restaurant while meandering around Pike Place Market. This quaint French restaurant set outside in an organic garden overlooking the sea was a sight for sore eyes and feet. Although our lunch was tasty and service was good, I can't remember what I ordered due to the amazing views and how tired I was. Give it... More
