A feeling of not being in a large city!

The terrace is wonderful with a view over the water and passing boats. Food was very good. We were the last to leave....Seattle people eat early!

Friend had halibut and was great. The appetizers dungenous crab egg roll could have passed as imitation crab meat. No crab flavor. Mussel and clams were horrible. Tasted few days dead and the clams are so small I wonder if it is legal to serve. Grilled octopus is ok. Expensive restaurant with dissaponting appetizers. Again fish dinner was great but... More

Nice locale on the water front. Watch the draw bridge traffic from the patio. Attentive, friendly service how communicated with superb and plethora of adjectives the various menu items. It was fun. Fresh food, farm-to-market, wild caught fish only. Tasty crab rolls, tender and juicy halibut, refreshing sorbet.

For a romantic outing with fabulous food, this may well be the place for you. We discovered Ponti's about two years ago, and it has become our favorite restaurant. As it's name implies, seafood is the specialty. We are fan of seafood stews, and they used to have the best we had ever tasted. Sadly, they made the unfortunate decision... More

This is a nice upscale restaurant with a patio overlooking Lake Union just across the bridge from Fremont. The food is excellent, the wine list ample, the service very good and the prices slightly higher than average, It is a very nice place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting. It is a bit less crowded than some of... More

Well, it's not really the sea you're looking at, but it is the ship canal, and if you sit on the patio, you will see a wonderful assortment of watercraft: barges full of gravel (this made us feel like we were in Egypt watching floating pyramids), many, many pleasure boats (some with semi-nude bathers--in Seattle no less!), and just plain... Such a wonderful dinner from start to finish at Ponti's! My husband & I enjoyed an early dinner in late July 2015 out on their patio. We made reservations on OpenTable & were seated in a great location right away. (Our only complaint of the night was the seemingly limited parking outside the restaurant....I don't know where we'd have parked... More

i had heard a lot about Ponti and chose to go there for a special evening which turned out to be OK but unremarkable. The location is superb and the layout, ambiance and furnishings tasteful, spacious and comfortable. The menu, however, is overblown and pricey. The food is pretentious and unnecessarily complicated. The service leaves a lot to be desired... More

Ponti was a favorite years ago, till the food started getting inconsistent. But we went back last week on a gorgeous evening, snagged a table on the deck overlooking the Ship Canal, and relaxed. Such a disappointment. Server couldn't locate a winelist, and kept asking if we would like a cocktail. Wine steward eventually delivered a lovely Sancerre, though not... More

I love Ponti Seafood Grill. We've been there many times and have some favorites. The Dungeness Crab Spring Rolls are excellent. Wild Mushroom Risotto is another favorite. Also don't miss the Thai Curry Penne!
