Fabulous fish, friendly service, lovely view

We really enjoyed our pre ballet dinner here. Parking was easy, and the restaurant has a great location next to the Fremont Bridge and the beautiful little canal it goes over. The seafood at Ponti is some of the best in Seattle. It's a great place to take friends visiting from out of town. On beautiful evening ask to sit on the deck. On my most recent visit I had the halibut, it was so fresh with an amazing preparation. Another excellent dish is the king crab legs. I've been many... More

If you love delicious food, and you like fusion restaurants, Ponti Seafood grill is for you. They have a delightful array of sauces which they serve such as curry, beurre blanc and fennel tzasiki. Crab spring rolls and fish tartare, all so wonderful!

Above the water- beautiful at night- had a phenomenal kale salad and mussels in a coconut broth- delicious. Followed it up with their chocolate caramel lava cake and Port- one to try!

Ponti's has always been pretty consistent with a little lapse in quality a few years back, but recently has been excellent again. We are especially enjoying their happy hour and their "Plenty for $20" menu -- two course meals for $20 and they don't scrimp on portions. Yesterday we sat outside - a March miracle in Seattle - and thoroughly... More

Ponti's is a delightful restaurant tucked away on an odd street across the canal from Fremont district. I think of it as our "elegant neighborhood restaurant". It's been in business many years and I've always been surprised by it's longevity. But I think what's kept it going is it it's fabulous deck overlooking the ship canal. We actually prefer to... We took a very good friend who has lived in the general area for many years and knew nothing about Ponti's last night for birthday dinner. Simply outstanding food - birthday girl had the smoked black cod, wife had the seafood stew and, after tasting the others, I mis-ordered with beef (which was well-prepared with the best scalped potatoes ever).... IF you are looking for a trendy, happening spot...this probably isn't it...however, if you are looking for very good food, in a clean, yet slightly dated restaurant, with friendly prompt service....you could do much worse.. collectively, we had salads, appetizers, pasta, seafood, steaks and dessert....and there were no disappointments....

Ponti Seafood Grill is a local gem. I have never had a bad meal there. Unlike many new restaurant these days, Ponti has a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. The vibe is casual yet elegant. It is a great place to take a first date or your grandmother for her birthday. The menu has something for everyone. In addition, the appetizer menu... More

As much as I love a new restaurant I really love having a favorite place where we can go and be warmly welcomed by the staff; Ponti is that place for my husband and me. Its our place to go when neither of us wants to cook. The food is excellent with a interesting menu that manages to retain our... More
