We were with a group so the food was ordered in advance. Crab egg rolls - so good - the best! Salmon and the salad - very delicious as well! Then the chocolate molten cake - heavenly. The wait staff was great and the only concern was the bathroom at 9 p.m. had no toilet paper. One of our top... More

I have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years and is is consistently the best, or at least among them, in Seattle. Located on the canal that runs between Puget Sound and Lake Union, this is a white napkin and leather kind of place. Watch the sailboats pass from two indoor dining areas or an outdoor... More

It has been a couple of years since I ate at Ponti's. Four of us came to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated us at our waterside table on the deck. The table was decorated with flower petals and a birthday card signed by the staff. What a lovely touch! After enjoying our cocktails,... More

We followed the directions on our GPS and thought it was taking us to an industrial area and just as we were sure we were in the wrong location we arrive. The only parking is with the valet and from the outside you can't tell its on the water. We arrived for the end of happy hour and all the... More

perhaps it helped to have made 5:30 reservations on a gorgeous Seattle evening, so we beat the later, predictable rush. We were seated at a lovely table on the deck and enjoyed an excellent birthday dinner of 1st, shared calamari appetizer ($13), fixed mediterranean style with olives & wee tomatoes, not deep fried, then my generous serving of perfectly cooked... We chose to have dinner at Ponti to celebrate our eldest son's 21st birthday. We asked for a table on their deck that overlooks the ship canal. Our table was set with flowers petals to celebrate the occasion and Alexandre was greeted with a very nice "Happy Birthday" by the manager and our server. The food was very nice. I... More

I had family visiting in town and being a local, wanted them to have a nice dinner by the water but had no interest in the typical tourist restaurants (e.g. palisades, salty's, lake union restaurants, etc) then I remembered Ponti. Its tucked away in fremont area, overlooking the lake washington ship canal. My family loved it and watching the boats... More

Ponti is a wonderful romantic restaurant with incredible food and a great view of the water. We were seated outside. Our party had halibut and cod. Everything was prepared with the freshest ingredients and unique flair. Ponti is in a neighborhood near the city, but away from the tourist crowds. Great find while in Seattle.

Went with a group for a business trip, had the thai curry pasta with lobster and scallops, calamari and octopus appetizer, chocolate cake....everyone raved about their dinner. They have a nice little private room for groups but the outside deck was nice too - just rainy when we were there....
