We stayed on a yacht and the owner recommended this restaurant. I went online to see a menu and there wasn't one. But don't let that alter your decision on going there! The chef will seat you, ask you what you don't like, and from there you get 8 courses! I'm a picky eater and ate 7 of them. The... More

A cute, intimate dining experience that changes each time we visit. Service and food are equally wonderful. Customized meals are prepared fresh. This is my favorite restaurant...period.

While my oldest son and I were visiting my other son and his wife in Seattle, we decided to go to Pasta Freska because I had seen a special offer for the restaurant on my Scout Mob app. We were warmly greeted by Chef Mike who asked if we wanted to sit on the patio and we were glad we... More

After being able to find a parking spot minutes before the fireworks was supposed to start on Lake Union, we were walking down to look for a takeaway. We chanced upon Pasta Freska, and it was the best decision ever. The enthusiastic chef cooked us a dish which was unbelievably tasty. Its something which I couldnt find on the menu... More

We selected Pasta Freska based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. When we walked in, we were immediately immersed in a garlic aroma that whet the appetite. It was a beautiful sunny evening so Chef/Owner Mike asked if we wanted to sit on the patio upstairs. What a lovely treat. As everyone has already said, he asks what allergies... More

Upon entering Pasta Freska one might wonder if it will be worthwhile to continue. Trust me it is ! Once seated the one thing quite endearing is the first question from the maître d is if anyone has any specific food allergies. Nice touch. The rest of the experience just gets better. Real family style, no menu ! Just sit... More

There is no menu at this restaurant. It is surprisingly relaxing and fun to have no choices to make when eating out. Our group of five had a number of food requirements (gluten-free, no dairy) but we were asked in the beginning about our food requirements and preferences. From that point on, the dishes started to arrive: eggplant appetizer, salad,... More

We'd seen Pasta Freska many times when heading along Lake Union toward Ballard, but never had a meal here. So we were excited when our dinner club chose this place for our May outing. We walked in, were greeted by Chef Mike, and he seated us and asked our food preferences (focusing on dislikes and food allergies). Then he said,... More

We had never been here before and decided to try it with two toddlers in tow. Immediately upon sitting down the kids had a 'special' drink (fresh raspberry lemonade) and their food started coming. The owner comes out and asks of any allergies and dislikes and then the food starts coming. Fantastic flavors, great service, kids and adults were all... More

I like the concept of this restaurant but everything else was disappointing. The restaurant looks like an icky old coffee shop, certainly not a place where you are going to spend $100 for dinner for 2. The food does not seem to be made fresh but rather random leftovers. I appreciate that they do inquire about your tastes and preferences... More
