Amazing Italian Food

This was quite the dining experience. The restaurant is located across the street from our Marina. I have always wanted to eat there and suggested we go there for appetizers. We were totally unaware of the fact there is no menu. We weren't that hungry and ended up eating a 6 course meal. (Wish... read more

Was here on New Years Day of 2015 and loved it. Flew the wife up here from So Cal for her birthday......what an awesome experience. Mike is the owner, and greats all of the customers. With no menu to select from, this is really outside of our comfort zone, but we roll with it and it does not disappoint! I... More

Admittedly, I had already been filled in by a friend and co-worker on the unique concept behind this Italian restaurant and the way in which it feeds its hungry patrons. That still did not detract from the experience. The man in charge of it all takes care of you from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave,... More

Stopped here for a weeknight dinner. Reservations can be made online (Thank you!). We arrived early, and opted to sit outside. They have a beautiful outdoor patio, perfectly shaded for a hot summer day. My friend and I had so much fun dining here! As stated no menu; Chef came out and pulled up a chair and sat to chat... First we made reservations for 6. We ended up changing to 9.... no problem... then we had a 2 year old... again no problem. Service was great I love not having menus. So many times people have trouble making up their mind or look at the price. At Pasta Freska it is what they give you. They did ask about... More

This has to be one of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Am planning another trip to Seattle in August and Pasta Fresca is definitely on the itenerary.

I will start out saying the food here was delicious and the concept is good! The experience, however, was lousy. I made reservations for 3 over a week prior to our arrival as I knew a Saturday night in Seattle would be busy. We arrived just before our 7pm reservation and the tiny waiting area was full. No one came... More

Chef Mike is phenominal. He asked us what we like to see what type palate we had. Then the food started arriving. It was all delicious. I normally don't like surprises but all these were fascinating. Don't expect to see a menu, just go for it!

Have been to Pasta Freska several times. It is always a fun adventure with your host Mike who will stop by your table, ask what won't/can't eat, and then determine what courses would be enjoyable for your table. There is no menu. You just trust Mike and his selections of 6 or 7 small plates. We are "wine" people but... More

Pasta Freska is the Italian cuisine answer to the very popular Staple and Fancy Mercantile in the Ballard neighborhood. Located in a somewhat non-descript building on Westlake Avenue, Pasta Freska doesn't seem to have any menus at all. Instead, you trust your dinner choices to the chef, who personally greets you and inquires as to any foods that you may... More
