Have been to Pasta Freska several times. It is always a fun adventure with your host Mike who will stop by your table, ask what won't/can't eat, and then determine what courses would be enjoyable for your table. There is no menu. You just trust Mike and his selections of 6 or 7 small plates. We are... read more

Chef Mike is phenominal. He asked us what we like to see what type palate we had. Then the food started arriving. It was all delicious. I normally don't like surprises but all these were fascinating. Don't expect to see a menu, just go for it!

Pasta Freska is the Italian cuisine answer to the very popular Staple and Fancy Mercantile in the Ballard neighborhood. Located in a somewhat non-descript building on Westlake Avenue, Pasta Freska doesn't seem to have any menus at all. Instead, you trust your dinner choices to the chef, who personally greets you and inquires as to any foods that you may... More

This was the second time we went to this restaurant. You don't have to order anything, they enquire about what you don't like and then bring all the multiple courses one by one.

It was our last night in Seattle over the New Years week, and we wanted to try an Italian restaurant, as we had not had Italian on our trip. I went to the restaurant app and it showed nothing but "Excellent" reviews. It really did not mention the fact that there is no menu. I went to the restaurant website... More

After searching for a seafood restaurant for awhile, we ended up right next to Pasta Freska and decided we would just go here out of frustration no one could make up there mind. Turned out to be an excellent decision. We were surprised there was no menu to chose from, but were excited to have a new experience. Chef Mike... More

This was the second time we have been to this restaurant and it was even better then the first. We love not having to make a decision on what to order. Chef comes to the table to discuss like/dislikes and then the food flows and they did an outstanding job choosing our meal. Everything was perfectly prepared.

We stayed on a yacht and the owner recommended this restaurant. I went online to see a menu and there wasn't one. But don't let that alter your decision on going there! The chef will seat you, ask you what you don't like, and from there you get 8 courses! I'm a picky eater and ate 7 of them. The... More

A cute, intimate dining experience that changes each time we visit. Service and food are equally wonderful. Customized meals are prepared fresh. This is my favorite restaurant...period.

While my oldest son and I were visiting my other son and his wife in Seattle, we decided to go to Pasta Freska because I had seen a special offer for the restaurant on my Scout Mob app. We were warmly greeted by Chef Mike who asked if we wanted to sit on the patio and we were glad we... More
