Good location.. near airport. Really nice and clean place! Our waiter was very friendly. I had a flight to catch an hour from being seated and he said that wouldn't be a problem. Sure enough it wasn't, our food was out within 20 minutes or so of ordering. The food was very presentable and tasty! Good portions too. The prices... More

You're hungry, right? It's late. You don't have many options. After visiting "13 Coins" you'll want one of these places where ever you travel! They do late night (actually "24/7") dining right! The staff, the eighties interior design, the secretive 'high back' bar stools. The cozy 'silo' booths. The hustle and bustle in the bar. And.. the comfort food! This... More

Worst experience ever! We went to celebrate a relatives birthday, the staff was rude and hardly ever at the table, the food took forever to get to us, and when we left the waitress rudely accused of not paying even though there was cash sitting on the table. To make matters worth, we accidently left a box with a $160... More

I was staying at a hotel nearby, and the front desk recommended the 13 coins. It is a 24/7 diner/bar, between the Hilton and Radisson hotels. It was only a few minutes walk from my hotel. I sat at the bar, and there were many Seahawks fans in watching a playoff game all over the bar area. Gave it a... More

It is a tradition for us to eat here whenever we travel out of SeaTac. We enjoy sitting at the counter where we can watch the hustle and bustle behind the counter. We were seated in front of the salad/desert station and Rob (I think that was his name) constantly worked at creating lovely salads. He kept his head down... More

Off and on I fly to Seattle. For a short visit it is usually better to stay close to the airport. If so I usually choose to go to 13 Coins for dinner. When I do I always sit at the counter in front of the chaos of preparing the meals. The first time I went I found it really... More

Iconic is perhaps overused, but in this case, it's just the point. The downtown 13 Coins has been around forever, the SeaTac location for many years. An interesting, even intriguing menu; sophisticated setting with the most private of booths - or sit at the counter in a high-back chair and watch the controlled chaos of meals being prepared right in... The food is exceptional short order cooking. My chuck pot roast was tender and flavourful and plentiful. But best of all, were our seats at the counter, directly in front of lead chef Sean. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing dinner, don't sit there. The man is a dynamo. It is amazing to watch, and listen, as he... More

13 Coins used to be a good food/great atmosphere ANY TIME of the Day place. Had an estate attorney appointment in the building today. Showed up at 12:15pm and was seated at the counter in the bar. Great chairs and adult atmosphere - and speedy service - or USED to be. There were 2 moms with noisy, little KIDS seated... More

Loved that at 930 pm we could get everything on the menu...even eggs Benedict! The sauce was real made...not from a package. My family got fresh fish...halibut, cod or trout which was a break from the ever present salmon. Lots of small celebrations all around us. Semi pricey...mid 30s for steaks but sandwiches and breakfasts in the $13 to $18... More
