I'd put this Italian food up against any restaurant in Seattle. If you want pretty decor, go else where's, maybe Olive Garden. However, If you want excellent, from scratch, Italian cooking and with outstanding friendly service, this IS your place. Pizzuto's is only open from 5pm to 9pm during the week. Not sure of the weekend. We arrive 15 minutes... More

We were invited to join another couple at this "great" Italian place that we had never heard of. Having lived in the city for a total of 106 years between us, how great could it be if we never heard of it? Really, really great is the answer to that question. It's a hole-in-the-wall looking place in a little neighborhood,... More

COmfort Italian food. I like the pasta with olive oil and garlic and prawns. My husband likes the chicken parmigan. We have family in the neighborhood, so its a convenient place to meet for a tasty home style Italian meal. We love the hot rolls. Seems to be a popular place for multi generational family get togethers.

Pizzuto's isn't fine dining but it is a good neighborhood eatery. The arugula salad with cherry tomatoes and parmesan is quite good. The meatball appetizer, 2 large meatballs and marinara sauce, is yummy and satisfying. We had the Enzo pizza with italian sausage and rapini, it was very good and I look forward to eating the leftovers for breakfast!

Had the hankering for some down home, red sauce, melted cheese, lots of delicious bread Italian. I was not disappointed. My fiancee and I were lucky and didn't have to wait at all but the place was really busy. We split the chicken parm and it was a great choice. It was a hefty portion and between the homemade rolls... Sometimes the attention to detail is telling. This place had entrees that were not too bad, but the bread served before was tasteless and my seat was covered in crumbs. This is a neighborhood place, and was busy later on in the evening, but I might drive a bit for a better meal.

Pizzuto's was a little difficult to find but, well worth the extra couple of blocks out of the way. We met with a group and sampled nearly every entree on the menu. Everything from handmade pasta to breaded egg plant. Simply excellent, fresh and top quality. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was lively and family friendly.

If you want good, honest Italian food at reasonable prices, this is the spot. I know it's the real deal because I lived next to the grand dame of the place, Maria Pizutto, for several years. She would sometimes come to our door with enormous platters of hearty Italian yum, just to be nice. The restaurant serves pretty much the... More

This is Italian food that feels like you stepped into Grandma's Sunday dinner, the portions are huge, everything is homemade (their spicy sausage is great) and you can choose from a wide variety of pasta dishes. They also offer pizza that looks wood-fired (haven't tried that yet) We had a family of five, with wine, salads or soup, and extras... More

Pizzuto's is a tradition in my family, dating back to when it first opened in the Lakewood neighborhood. Whenever my sons and I are in Seattle visiting family, we go there for dinner at least once. Don't go expecting fancy, high-class Italian food -- this is good, down-home, child-friendly cooking. The portions are large, the flavors excellent, and they will... More
