Description: When travelling, often the best restuarants are slightly off the beaten path. We've been named "Hidden Gem" by Seattle Magazine, not just for spectacular Italian Food but a gorgeous view of Downtown Seattle. Chef-owned, our casual little place is just 10 minutes from Downtown (just a quick exit from I-90 onto Rainier Ave S -- careful, the exit comes up FAST from downtown). Free Parking and a really cool Solstice Park (with sunset marker stones) just steps North of our building is the Cherry on top! Welcome!

We made a reservation at the suggestion of our B & B host. (This is small neighborhood place.) My husband had a steak special and I had the crab pasta special. Both were delicious, and portions generous. Service was warm and friendly.

This is a little neighborhood place in Mt. Baker. It is the Italian place EVERYONE wishes would live in their neighborhood. Of course, not every neighborhood has the extraordinary view of Seattle we had from our table, and that made our evening special. This is a chef owned and operated place and everyone who works there is part of a... More

We eat here often and the food is consistently fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We appreciate that the restaurant is not stuffy or expensive. The wine choices are good. The service is always prompt and friendly, even when they're very busy!

We have been to That's Amore several times. The food has been consistently good. Having just returned from a trip to Italy we are pretty particular about our Italian food. The wine is very good, with many Italian wine options. The wait staff can be the wild card here, some nights it is very good and other nights we have had... More

This neighborhood cafe is small in size but big in ambiance and friendly service. The menu is varied, reasonably priced, and completely delicious. We ate two dinners here-- just one was not enough to experience the menu offerings. The lasagna was wonderful! There is also an extensive wine list. The view of the city as the sun goes down is... We have known about this little Italian corner for nearly 20 years but somehow have never stopped by when in the neighborhood. I am so glad that we finally did. The very good food, friendly owner and incredible view of downtown Seattle, are probably a good start for why it has been around for so long. Without going into small... More

We love the incrediably thoughtful and attentive but not intrusive service at this restaurant. They go the extra mile to anticipate and make your dining experience wonderful. For example, last nite they suggested we take home some extra pesto sauce and use it with our breakfast eggs, packaged it separately in a little container and made sure it wouldn't leak. This... This restaurant was recommended to us by our hosts at the Sleeping Bulldog, as well. We had the most amazing food and service and went back a second night during our stay. This is a small restaurant with an amazing view of the mountains and Seattle. The food is fresh and made to order. They did not skip a beat... More

Seattle is of patchwork of neighborhoods, each with its own distinct identity and vibe, and many of these are home to local restaurants that generally fly under the tourist radar. To some degree, online review sites are changing this dynamic, so the best neighborhood restaurants, even those that are off the beaten track, are enjoying ever-wider patronage. One such restaurant... More

This excellent restaurant was recommended by my B&B hosts at the Sleeping Bulldog. The window seat was reserved for me so I had a unbelievable view over Seattle while enjoying the most fantastic Italian meal. The service could not have been better and the waitress was stunning!!
