When travelling, often the best restuarants are slightly off the beaten path. We've been named "Hidden Gem" by Seattle Magazine, not just for spectacular Italian Food but a gorgeous view of Downtown Seattle. Chef-owned, our casual little place is just 10 minutes from Downtown (just a quick exit from I-90 onto Rainier Ave S -- careful, the exit comes up FAST from downtown). Free Parking and a really cool Solstice Park (with sunset marker stones) just steps North of our building is the Cherry on top! Welcome!

This isn’t a spaghetti warehouse, pizza parlor or Chef Boy-Ar-Dee. The food is an eclectic take on the familiar wrapped up with an outstanding staff and view to match. When ordering, converse with your server about the level and type of seasoning as they will prepare to taste. Reservations recommended. And ask which desserts are homemade, then indulge.

Shared a wonderful meal with great friends at their recommendation. We ordered the Peppered NY Steak and Polpetta. Both were terrific! Steak was cooked perfectly, very tender and tasty and the peppercorn was a nice contrast. The Polpetta meat and sauce were very tasty. Service was very competent and pleasant with detailed description of the specials, knowledge of the menu... More

First time at this incredible Italian restaurant & will return again before we leave. Best value and homemade Italian like no other outside of Italy itself. Staff couldn't be more outgoing & food couldn't be better! If you're in Seattle and enjoy Italian this is the spot!

Party do 3 shared bruschetta, which was fresh tasting. I had the pear and Gorgonzola salad and prawns carbonara. Both were good. The salad would have been better with more than 2 slices of pear. There was nothing extraordinary about the carbonara dish. My friends enjoyed several glasses of red wine, salads and entrées. We shared the berry torte, which... More

Visited for the first time on a Saturday joght, full restaurant but we did get seated quickly without a reservation. Great good, good service and good prices. Will return for sure. Only negative note was automatic 15% tip for a party of two..didn't expect that... Would have actually left more but didn't after seeing the automatic charge

We made a reservation at the suggestion of our B & B host. (This is small neighborhood place.) My husband had a steak special and I had the crab pasta special. Both were delicious, and portions generous. Service was warm and friendly.

This is a little neighborhood place in Mt. Baker. It is the Italian place EVERYONE wishes would live in their neighborhood. Of course, not every neighborhood has the extraordinary view of Seattle we had from our table, and that made our evening special. This is a chef owned and operated place and everyone who works there is part of a... More

We eat here often and the food is consistently fresh, tasty and well-prepared. We appreciate that the restaurant is not stuffy or expensive. The wine choices are good. The service is always prompt and friendly, even when they're very busy!

We have been to That's Amore several times. The food has been consistently good. Having just returned from a trip to Italy we are pretty particular about our Italian food. The wine is very good, with many Italian wine options. The wait staff can be the wild card here, some nights it is very good and other nights we have had... More

This neighborhood cafe is small in size but big in ambiance and friendly service. The menu is varied, reasonably priced, and completely delicious. We ate two dinners here-- just one was not enough to experience the menu offerings. The lasagna was wonderful! There is also an extensive wine list. The view of the city as the sun goes down is...
