I was told about the scallop sandwich and thought it sounded good, but words can't quite describe it. The description read like a Bahn Mi, but it was anything but. Such a perfect level of grease, 5 star spice that rocked my world and despite the crowd the staff was quite well behaved. A must if you're in Seattle!

We were revisiting the area, and off course Paseo were on the to-do-list. The waiting time is rewarded with delicious sandwiches.

The Fremont area is my fav area in Seattle by far. The classic Caribbean roast sandwich is very good but also very messy. We waited in line for about 30 minutes to get it but I was happy with it. We then drove over to Gas Works park and had a picnic. It was perfect for a sunny Seattle day.

It is always a must when I am in Seattle, and every time there is a line that stretches out the door. Well worth the wait though!

I don't know ya'll, some of these higher reviews...seriously they have to be wishful thinking or wishing for the past or I don't know what. Please save yourselves the heartache and know that the negative reviews are true. I used to live right down the street from this place for many many years and was a very regular customer. I... More

In a word, NO. The new Paseo makes damn good sandwiches. If I hadn't been a long-time regular customer of the real Paseo, I'd probably write a rave review. But their sandwiches simply don't reach the near-orgasmic heights of the original Paseo. And the experience pales in comparison to the indescribable quirkiness that used to occur there. The sandwich falls... More

We thought it was lost for good. Happily, now rescued by new owners but with the old staff and recipes. The fabulous Cuban sandwich is ours again! And they even take plastic now (welcome to the 21st C.). Well worth trekking up north of Fremont for an unforgettable lunch experience.

On my way there today and discovered that they have closed both locations due to legal troubles. Extremely disappointed that the owner did not only cheat his workers but he also cheated Seattle of it's finest sandwich.
