Consistently excellent quality

Paseo is one of the most beloved restaurants in Seattle. To call it a restaurant would really be overstating it. They have only a few tables, and, after a recent sudden closure, have reopened by popular demand with most of the same loyal, long-term employees. The quality is still excellent, and... read more

Good pork samich. Let the bread warm up for at least five minutes or it will be too chewy. Delicious spices!

Outstanding pork, hearty sandwich, served hot. Delicious. Don't miss. In an easily discovered location. Worth the wait on a busy day.

Stopped by here with the wife and it is a must stop. We ordered the main dish to order the ---Caribbean pulled pork sandwich. The lines are long and you must wait and there really is no where to sit besides 3-4 tables inside. The food is to go and you will have to eat elsewhere. But holy cow...the sandwich... More

Paseo was recommended to me by a Seattle friend and he couldn't have been more right! He recommended the Cuban sandwich so everyone in our group went with them. They were delicious, HUGE and a beautiful tasty mess. Everything from the crunchy baguette to the sauce spread and of course the tender meat. Three of use could have easily shared... More

Do not be fooled by the stickers on the windows/doors. Those rave reviews and awards were achieved by the OLD owner of Paseo's and his AMAZING recipes. The new place does not live up to the new owner's claim that he has the original recipes.....outright fib. The sauces are overly salty and doused with a heap of vinegar. The old... More

I found this place through trip advisor. I passed by it and didn't see the address or the name of the restaurant, but I saw a huge line. I remember thinking, I hope that's not the place. After going around the block three times I finally found parking, two blocks away. But let me say ... well worth the wait.... More

Like thousands before me, I loved the original Paseo. I lived near the one in Ballard and could fill my need for a pork sandwich as desired. Then they closed. I decide to give the new owners a try and have to say, it may have been even better. Place was cleaner, service fast and friendly, and the sandwich, same... More

Fun overall experience. Well known for obvious reasons. Lots of dead stuff lying around in the kitchen. Sweat, smoke, tears, yelling, and long long lines. Never been to Cuba, this sandwich was good but not amazing. Best to either wear a tyvek suit while eating, or plan on showering. I was covered with grease when I polished of this 1200... More

Admittedly it has been along time since I have returned to Paseo. At one point I was convinced it was the best sandwich ever. Having just returned I have to now say it is just a good sandwich. On the positive side, the line went out the door and the counter staff were super friendly and thanked us wholeheartedly for... More
