Delicious sushi, reasonable prices

My husband and I ordered three delicious sushi rolls and a very good cheesecake with red bean paste on the side for dessert. We arrived about 5:45 on a Friday night with no reservations and got what seemed to be the last two seats available, at the side of the sushi bar. What we lost in atmosphere... read more

Kisaku was nice... nice quiet atmosphere..not loud and obnoxious. Its in a nice area. Parking not so great. Just find a spot.. walk as much as a couple blocks.... no big deal. FOOD: I did enjoy the food. The Sashimi Combo L was great. Lots of great cuts to try. 7 or 8 different ones. Good for two. The actual... More

We have been regulars at this place for the last 8 years. We were referred to it by someone who used to take their Japanese guests to dine there. The owner, Nakano, works the sushi bar every night, with another amazing sushi chef on the smaller bar. The restaurant is located in tangle-town, a tangly small neighborhood near Greenlake, off... Recommended by a local. Showed up without a reservation and told their only table was in a charmless windowless "back room". Place remained empty throughout our entire time there. A group of three were also turned away. Food was good, nothing remarkable. Décor was chintzy and cheap. Overall a below average experience. I wonder how they get all those good... More

Nothing like Seattle Sushi. Best in the country by far. Lots of different fish we can't get on the east coast fresh. Service and friendless of Sushi Chefs is amazing. Reservations a must.

Our family loves sushi. This is some of the best. soucie chef very accessible to questions and very friendly. Service quick. But the sushi is terrific. West Coast salmon, nothing tastes as good as it.

Always good. Always busy. Always somewhat noisy. We have been here often, and we have never been disappointed. This time my husband and I shared mushroom salad and Agadashi tofu . We each had black cod (which, when smoked, you know as sable at the deli). Those with us also had tofu first, and then they had an assortment of... More

While visiting friends in Seattle, I requested sushi. My friends maintain that this is the absolute best in town -- and I bet they're right. It was awesome sushi (maybe better than what I've had in NYC), has an attentive and warm staff, and was totally welcoming -- even with a newborn and 2-year-old (for whom they made her favorite... We are fans, big fans. Great sushi, great staff, kid friendly, we are really thankful that Kisaku is within walking distance of our house but just to be clear, we would happily drive to get here.... It's a feather in Tangletown's cap! We have been eating at Kisaku's sushi bar since it opened and in the days when you didn't... More

Okey sushi place. with free appatizer. sushi was of good quality. The public was mainly Asian, which is for sushi bars often a good sign. Lived in the neighbourhood for a while, and will go back if I return.
