I was hunting around the internet for a place to eat, when this restaurant popped up. Despite a reservation, as I was alone, I sat at the sushi bar. After some discussion with the sushi chef near me, I opted for the dinner size sashimi platter. I told him I liked everything, so to put on what was fresh. When... More

We go there regularly and are never disappointed. I love the California rolls and the Caterpillar rolls. Their selection of Sake is generous and reasonably priced. Lunch is served with a Miso soup and small salad included in your order, which was a very good surprise. Other dishes are also very good, like the Agedashi Tofu. Highly recommended.

I don't frequent Japanese restaurants much, but when in Seattle this is one place I look forward to eating at. The sushi and California rolls are fresh and served very attractively. The serving staff are friendly and knowledgeable if you are unfamiliar with the menu. Many Japanese were eating here which is always a good sign authentic food is being... More

Kisaku is an excellent Japanese restaurant serving mainly Sushi but also other entrees. The food is always superb and served graciously. If this type of cuisine can be called art then Kisaku is responsible for such an elevation. It serves consistently high quality food and has since its opening. When my wife and I are pondering a place to eat... More

We've been here several times, even with a good friend that has lived in Japan. The food has always been very good as well as the service. Not so much anymore! We were very disappointed with all of the food-from a quantity, preparation, quality and service level. We started with spicy oysters and my fave, soft shell crab. The oysters... More

We were very disappointed with this place that had come quite highly recommended. The sushi was average, salmon did not taste particularly fresh and the rolls were nothing to rave about. The worse thing was receiving a piece of salmon sashimi that was just the skin and nothing else. It was horrible and overpriced for the poor quality. There are... More

This place was within walking distance of our air bnb. Fresh food and interesting rolls (we tried green lake, Wallingford and the spicy tuna - all very reasonably priced). Casual but upscale atmosphere for sushi. It is a good option if you are staying in the Wallingford area and looking for fresh fish/sushi.

Aug/2015; Kisaku, in Wallingford, Seattle/WA: Hidden away, North end corner of Wallingford with a handful of shops and restaurants, not easy to get to, but worth the find. We tried 5 lunch specials and they’re all perfect, though the California rolls could use some real crabs. All fresh fish. My young daughter decided to try raw fish and fell in... More

My husband and I ordered three delicious sushi rolls and a very good cheesecake with red bean paste on the side for dessert. We arrived about 5:45 on a Friday night with no reservations and got what seemed to be the last two seats available, at the side of the sushi bar. What we lost in atmosphere was made up... More
