Love this place!

We have been in Seattle just over a week and have eaten here two times. My husband had the halibut skewer and I had the halibut, prawns, and oysters the first time. We both agreed it was delicious ans went back again a couple of days later. He had the two piece halibut and I had the halibut with... read more

We have been going to Sunfish since the day they open up on Avalon Way and 35th SW some 30 years ago. At the time my son had special food needs and the brothers gladly made fish and chips our little guy could enjoy. The restaurant has long since moved to Alki providing great food and a great view. My... More

Great location for watching the water and doing some people-watching. Food is average. The fried fish felt very heavy, and the fries were not crisp. The fishkabob was a great gluten-free option (although, seriously, fish-fryers of Seattle, if I can fry fish at home with a little rice flour, can't you do the same if you're making fries in a... Alki Beach is a favorite place of ours to do nothing. Eat lunch, grab a Starbucks, go sit on a bench and people watch. This is followed by Happy Hour visit to Salty's for great food on the cheap. Our favorite lunch place was changed when we arrived so we thought we'd try Sunfish Fish and Chips. It was a great... More

Made it to Sunfish again for lunch. Beautiful day, great view of the sound and the fried cod was delicious. There has not been an entrée item on the menu that was not good or great and the fries were better this trip. The cod was lightly breaded, moist, and had a nice flavor. Great plain or with a little... More

Enjoyed eating lunch at Sunfish so much I returned the next day for supper. A great fish & chip shop with an excellent location fronting onto Alki Beach. The friendly owners and fried oysters ensure that l'll be back next time I'm in town.

We enjoyed a nice lunch at Sunfish. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. The coleslaw which was supposed to be excellent was lacking something and pretty bland. All the fried seafood was great. My mom also enjoyed chatting with the owners.

There are several pluses to Sunfish that make this a "Go To" establishment at Alki Beach, the view and the food to name two. Two former commercial fishermen are the owners and operators, so who better to judge fresh seafood. We have visited on every trip to Seattle since it was suggested by a friend who owns a Japanese restaurant... More

Halibut fish and chips were outstanding in quality and flavor. The portions are big and don't forget the cole slaw! The clam chowder rivals the best I've had. Small quaint restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the Puget Sound. Wonderful restaurant!
