MUST go place in Seattle

Our hotel clerk suggested this restaurant due to Ivar's being closed (construction by the pier). Awesome !!! Doesn't matter what you order, it will be great. Do yourself a favor and order the Clam Chowder WITH the truffle oil. We never had truffle oil and it was the best thing since sliced bread. :)

My best friend and I stayed down at the Market for a little get away in our home town, I have been to so many steak houses in the city but not yet here, so we walked over... I love the floor , the tables , the chef counter , the wall decor- it really made me feel like I... More

The raw oysters were delicious. A great selection of them. I had the scallops and they were mouth watering as well. Highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is within a four block walk from the Inn at the Market where we were staying near pikes Place market Kind of reminds me of an old speakeasy steakhouse in New York City where it's very rich inside lots of wood and Walnut We had a business dinner at 7:30 with some of our buyers from Amazon and... We had a 7:30 reservation on a weekend, and were seated promptly when we arrived. I was a bit put off right away by all the customers in shorts/t-shirts/baseball hats. I assume this was the happy hour crowd finishing up, but still. We enjoyed the oyster/wine flight, a nice idea and a good way to start the meal. The oysters... More

Wonderful, scallops were great and the service was really good. The server described the dishes in detail and the atmosphere was relaxed. Started with the clam chowder with truffle oil. Enjoyed salmon and bouillabaisse and ended with Crème Brulee. Will return again and recommend it to others.

We ordered two bottles of wine with dinner and it was one persons real birthday. After dinner we told the server it was his birthday and they brought a candle on an empty plate!!! It was the MOST insulting gesture I have ever seen. I called over the manager to inquire and Valerie said "we don't do desserts" oh really?... More

Fancy, yet affordable and very tasty. I had the ahi tuna and it was delicious. The dining room area is very intimate, but if you want all of the action, sit in the bar area. Excellent selection of beer and wines and the cocktails were good as well.

It's always hard to take your 16 year old son to dinner and find common ground. While raised to appreciate great food, he is still after all, a 16 year old. Brooklyn - sitting at the chef's table - was absolutely the perfect choice. He described it as dinner and a show. While eating really good seafood we got to... More
