We tried to go to the Virginia street location of Serious Pie and there was a crazy line (I think they told us around 2 hours?), so instead, the next day we tried the Westlake Serious Pie. Total win: No line - and AMAZING pizza. We tried the potato pizza (yes, potato) and a special ham and egg pizza -... More

Very good pizza, especially the crust, though technically more of a flatbread than a pizza pie. The fennel sausage was excellent and though a bit small, sized for a single person, filled me up nicely. The beer selection was fantastic and had a wide range. Service was prompt and very friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere as well.

How had I not been to even one of Tom Douglas' restaurants in 25 years? This place is the bomb. Since there are no reservations, we managed to eke in just before a rush on a recent Saturday morning. We were seated at a communal table upstairs which is really a loft that overlooks the bakery for all of Tom's... More

We were there during happy hour so half pizzas were $6. We tried 4 different ones but our favorites were the fennel sausage and the buffalo mozzarella. We also tried the potato pizza and the mushroom with truffle cheese. They were very good as well. Huge beer selection and the service was attentive. Will go back to try the breakfast.

The folks at Serious Pie obviously don't want to dazzle you with a menu as long as your arm, with only a few pizzas on the menu. That definitely helped us as we arrived, fresh off the plane from Heathrow, at 5pm Seattle time but 1am on our body clocks. The pizzas arrived quickly, and were perfect for what they... More

The fennel sausage pizza was fabulous, no sauce per se just simmered tomatoes so delicately seasoned. Wonderful. Our friends had the mushroom pizza and said it is at the top of their list. The service was attentive. This place is on my return to calendar

This was the first time we had breakfast here (serious biscuit). Be prepared, the biscuits are fantastic! I had a biscuit sandwich, I was surprised it held together, but it did. Also, be prepared for a wait on weekends. Oh, nice beer selection, too.

Delicious, fresh, hip, comfortable, energetic, right noise level and very serious about quality pizza. The benchmark for artisan pizza.

Ate there for breakfast on the recommendation of a hotel employee. The food was divine! We shared two plates. The first was a biscuit with fried chicken, bacon, egg, and country gravy... so good! The second was a biscuit with bacon, fried green tomatoes, and egg... delicious! Serve yourself coffee and water, staff was friendly and eager to offer suggestions.... More

Loved the atmosphere and the food. Some of the most creative and delicious pizza combos I've ever had on some of the best crust EVER. A really fun and yummy evening.
