La Romanza in West Seattle served really good Italian food the night we ate there. On Wednesdays the Italian wines were 50% off regular price. There is a large bar. We were told by friends that on the weekends in place is very popular. The red pasta sauce was very good. Their website has more details on the menu, music,... More

Went for Happy hour and tried the house wine. Poor quality. Had to upgrade to the regular wine by the glass for almost double the price. Liked the sauce on the calamari but it over powered the calamari. Had the lamb burger. Could not taste the lamb since it was over powered by the sauce. Only really good item was... More

My husband and I thought we would take advantage of the Seattle Restaurant week by trying a new restaurant. We were pretty disappointed by the meal we were served. The spouse ordered a salmon fettuccini with hard pasta and very fishy salmon. My dish had three smallish scallops and lots of noodles for $19. The salads were drenched in dressing.... More

We go here regularly. It has never failed. The menu is worthy of any foodie's interests, and well prepared. It is rich in flavors and textures, with pasta al dente and sauces that do not disappoint. The service has been crisp and yet friendly. This last time, I had short ribs in thick red sauce combined with pasta. Among the... More

From the staff to the owner they serve sub par (and cold) food with an attitude not belonging to a good restaurant. Rarely they get it right, by accident...

One of the best things to do on an afternoon is go to have tea with friends and family. However, if you don't know anything about tea other than Lipton tea you need a good guide. Aimee and her staff know a thing or two about tea. Aimee has created a wonderful atmosphere in West Seattle to enjoy high tea.... More

West Seattle is not flush with truly superior places to eat. So we asked our friend with whom we were staying to recommend a place, she said that La Romanza was one of her faves, and after eating a delightful dinner there, my husband and I would agree wholeheartedly! La Romanza is a small place with a very cozy feel.... More

Visiting W Seattle and stopped for drinks & apps before our reservations up the street. BEST drinks and tapas, plus the piano bass duo. and we said we would go back. We did go back after a long day at the Mountain, and La Rom was wonderful. Fresh pasta with lamb meatballs? Yum... Mama's manicotti-fresh and delicious. Oh yeah, the... More

The food was very good. Service was good and the atmosphere was excellent. Prices were okay for the meals but the drinks were very expensive – hold on to your wallet. Nice people working there that gave a little extra. Good place to go but there are probably better.

Highly recommend this little gem of an Italian bistro! Splurge on the crab crepe lasagna and save room for the gelato!! The frosting on our evening was the most EXCELLENT piano and bass duo extraordinaire!! If you get Manny as your waiter -- the planets have aligned for you!
