Book readings, book browsing and good food.

I love this corner bookstore with a Greek style restaurant and pub downstairs. I like supporting independent books stores and this is one way to give to local businesses. We eat here fairly regularly because the location works well for us and we can usually get in (although it's worth calling ahead to make reservations). The food is o.k. It's mostly Greek style food. The portions are a bit on the small side and the menu is pretty much always the same. Dinner is usually o.k. but we have... More

Great atmosphere, service, and food. The breakfast pita was delicious, only to be topped by the coffee. The staff was friendly, efficient, and kept the coffee coming!

In Seattle for work, though quite a full week, I tried quite a few restaurants, having to eat and all. I also tried many a second-hand bookstore, so Vios was certainly on my list of musts. The book browsing was pleasant, and the food downright amazing. I had the pork on a bed of salad (can't recall it's official title)... More

The Greek style breakfast sandwich is simply the best. If I'm going to abandon my 1200 calorie a day diet, it has to be for something worthwhile - and this is it! And those crispy country potatoes are addicting. Now, I just have to do a return visit for the house made granola and yogurt or the rustic french toast... More

I ate at Vios Cafe at Third Place Books in the Ravenna neighborhood of Seattle for the first time today. My wife and I had lunch. She had the lamb souvlaki plate with salad and I had a falafel sandwich and a cup of lentil soup. Everything was excellent and I think it was the best lentil soup that I've... More

Here after a neighborhood intergenerational event with family while visiting Seattle. Classic Greek gyro with "special French fries," lentil soup, and salad. Attentive server and service. I will come back.

Great for breakfast if you are in the neighborhood. We were staying just down the street at a B&B and this was a short walk away. We went there twice - once for breakfast around 9am on a Sat. and then back the next day for a coffee and muffin at 8am. Both times we were greeted warmly, served promptly.... More

Have been here several times and unfortunately the portions don't seem to be keeping up with the prices. Food is good, with some unusual & tasty items, but over-priced. Location at one end of a bookstore is a plus, especially if you have to wait for someone you're meeting!

Had lunch with a biz Associate. The food was great, the service great, and was most comfortable to visit and talk biz. Look forward to next time
