Happy hour fun

We ended up at The Brave Horse after I saw it on the Food Network. The deals for happy hour are pretty good, $2 mini baked pretzels with dip. There is shuffleboard and the place wasn't too crowded.

Great location and the place itself is a great looking space. the menu however is horribly laid out and difficult to read. The prices are ridiculous. I ordered a plain beefburger with fries and a diet coke. The burger was tiny, the helping of shoestring like fries was tiny and it cost me a whopping $17.50. Outrageously over priced. The... More

We very fortunate in Seattle to have so many options to dine. Our favorite spot to "start the night" since its opening is Brave Horse! Happy Hour is delicious. Pretzels are cheap (who doesn't LOVE cheap?!) with several options for dipping. Games (Darts & Shuffleboard) to keep us entertained as we indulge in adult libations. To top it off, the... More

This is one of our favorite Seattle Restaraunts. Always a lively crowd, great place to watch a Seahawks game. Consistently good food, bar staff, and affordable. Only drawback is that it is very Loud.

I visited this location for the second time, previously was after they opened. My recent visit was a disappointment. I remember the deviled eggs being excellent but they since changed them to Green Eggs and Ham and they taste like star anise which is good in pho but not in eggs. We ordered appetizers: pretzels, cheese curds, chicken wings and... More

Stopped in Seattle for 2 nights on the way to Vancouver. Walked around the South Union Lake and then went into Brave Horse for lunch. WE had the fried chicken sandwich and the burger of the day. I am not a burger fan, and this burger sealed the deal that I am still not a fan. it was dry. The... More

Love going here for some good bar food but it can get crowded and very loud. Had a good time with a group for a small going away party but then work time was over and the place flooded with people from nearby offices. Best time to go is early in the afternoon to have a good beer and grub,... More

We had a decent time here. Thought the food would have been better for a Douglas place. At least they have shuffleboard.

This place was extremely crowded when we go there. It seemed like a place where a lot of people meet up after work. It does have a fun feel to it. You seat yourself at this place. It's advertised as a Tom Douglas restaurant. Maybe this is some fancy way to say that they have good food. The food takes... More

FYI: You must be 21 to enter. (Saw a baby in carrier turned away) My wife and I came here for an afternoon drink and some pretzels in the summer of 2015. We ended up staying and spending a couple hours playing shuffleboard. Not much else to say but that the service was great, the food was great, the drinks... More
