We seem to now visit every time we're in Seattle

In part, I suppose it's because it's within walking distance of REI, which we visit every time we're in Seattle. In part, it's because we can ride to it on the streetcar. Mostly, however, it's the truly excellent selection of beers and a very good and fun food menu. We hadn't been there for... read more

This place was extremely crowded when we go there. It seemed like a place where a lot of people meet up after work. It does have a fun feel to it. You seat yourself at this place. It's advertised as a Tom Douglas restaurant. Maybe this is some fancy way to say that they have good food. The food takes... More

FYI: You must be 21 to enter. (Saw a baby in carrier turned away) My wife and I came here for an afternoon drink and some pretzels in the summer of 2015. We ended up staying and spending a couple hours playing shuffleboard. Not much else to say but that the service was great, the food was great, the drinks... More

Stopped here for drinks, good tap list, no taster flights though, service was good though the were not busy when we were there, if we hadn't already had lunch I would loved to have tried several of the menu items. Cool hipster vibe.

My brother and I stopped for lunch recently at the Brave Horse. He works nearby and had told me it's THE place for friend cheese curds. I lived in Wisconsin for many years so I enthusiastically agreed to give them a try. Verdict: delicious! Crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside without any hint of grease, and served with... For those who work or visit Amazon HQ, this is a very well regarded and loved place. The atmosphere is great, with a bit of a cowboy theme to it, very friendly staff and a large enough selection of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to entice anyone to have a few. Visited during the nicest weather in Seattle (June-July) and... More

love this place and I love taking my friends here. The atmosphere is rad. Shuffleboard. Big beers. Wine and a full bar. Large family style tables. The food is bomb-diggity and the people are nice. What more can one ask for? I have been brunch and dinner- pleased with both! I love the pretzels (all the dips and mustards are... More

Fun adult-themed restaurant with epic food, amazing drinks, and gaming room (darts & shuffleboard). Menu is fairly limited but in a good way. Hitting Brave Horse for dinner with large group we were able to take in a sampling of the menu. Some stand outs: beer brined buttermilk fried chicken, smoked baby back ribs (which are served in a mustard... More

Casual fun place for grownups - no one under 21 allowed. Shuffleboard for some distraction, communal seating at long tables, several cider options along with a boatload of beers and interesting sounding cocktails. I didn't eat anything there but we chatted until it got a bit crowded and louder so we headed out. Would definitely go back.
