My wife and I took our adult age children and friends to the Brave Horse Tavern in Seattle prior to attending a Seattle Mariners game. It is located in the south Lake Union area of Seattle. The Brave Horse Tavern is a large pub with rustic tables and seating. The tables seat about 8 people per table. There are several... More

I went for a quick lunch on a gorgeous sunny day and sat outside. It was a great little patio. I had the pretzel bun ham and cheese and it was the best one I've ever had. Lots of BBQ type options but also more "fancy" stuff too. The cocktails are also noteworthy. This is a great little place that... More

We went here on the recommendation of friends and it was fine but not particularly memorable or noteworthy. We were there for Sunday Brunch. Two of us had the waffles, one had a burger, and I had a breakfast burrito. All the meals were flavorful; no complaints. I am giving it a 3, though, mostly because I expected more, the... More

Food tasted decent and the beer selection was not bad, but not THAT great. They got 2/3 of our orders wrong. On the up side, the atmosphere was really great and the staffs were nice and friendly. I will go back for the atmosphere just to hang out, but not for the beer or the food unless I'm really hungry.

We returned this week and had a very good experience sitting at the bar. Though the place was crowded we still had an attentive friendly bartender. Food is consistently tasty. This is a very fun place to watch sports.

You can satisfy your weekend breakfast cravings until 3 pm in South Lake Union at BHT. Try the Breakfast Pretzelwich, a wonderful pretzel roll oozing with cheese, carmelized onions, salty-sweet house cured ham, and an over-easy egg. Beef burger was tasty but smallish, with toppings and all sides an extra charge, including cheese. It is a sports-oriented tavern in the... More

First time, fabulous Bloody Mary with a mini Rainier beer! Husband had a bacon maple Old Fashioned, combined with two pretzels and sauces made for the best weekend breakfast. We were surprised at how busy it was at 10am but if you enjoy pub food, shuffleboard, darts and drinks this joint is for you. Tables for two, tables for 10...will... More

I've been to the Brave Horse several times within the last few months and will continue to go back. It's a large, rustic/country themed bar and restaurant with darts, shuffleboard and large wooden tables perfect for a group. The food is delicious and their menu expansive. If you're just looking for a snack, the assortment of pretzels and dips they... More

We went in a party of six on a Saturday night - the dining area was booked by a private party (which they didn't tell us when we called earlier to see about reservations) so we at in the bar. We all had a different entree. All the food was mediocre. Could have been at Dennys. Beer was good. The... More
