Went for breakfast with family in Ballard. Very clean, loved the atmosphere. Food was awesome and our waitress couldn't have been nicer. If you go for breakfast you have to get the homemade donut holes. We shared 2 orders of them for a group of 8 before we all ordered our breakfast. Yum!!

Yet another TRENDY, HIP Seattle eatery, calling themselves a "Diner". Look it up people! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diner Anyway, met some friends for lunch, first time... wanted to see what all the hype was about. Service was good... menu... a bit small (see NOT a diner). Had the pork rueben, it was OK, way too many fennel seeds... made it... weird. Not sure... More

Heard about this from an airport ticket agent. It's a short walk from our son's home, so we went for late breakfast on a Sunday. Outstanding food. The cornmeal waffle with eggs and pork belly was great. And if you go for the bourbon and peanut butter milk shake, get two straws to enjoy it with your companion.

My wife and I headed to Skillet for a late night bite to eat with a friend. We got to the restaurant around 9:30 on a Friday night and while not needing a reservation, we had one. My favorite aspect of Skillet was the reverse happy hour they had with $5 drinks and small plates of food for cheap too.... More

My wife and I are brunch snobs. If you can't do a decent brunch, we'll never return. Skillet is one of our favorite brunch spots in Seattle. I cannot express to you how good the Bacon Jam Bloody Mary they make is...trust me...if it sounds good to you, just get it. I love the house-made biscuits & sage gravy. It's... More

We ate breakfast here when we were walking around Ballard. First sign of a good place is the crowd. This place was packed and had a line of people waiting to get in. Not bad given the ample size of the restaurant. We sat at the bar and ordered our breakfasts- one of us had The Chub, another had The... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The quality of food is outstanding and the portions are immense -- you should definitely consider splitting an entree. The service was a bit slow and the restaurant wasn't busy otherwise we'd make this 5 stars. Can't wait to go back though! The meatloaf was great - best ever; and the pork chop was... More

Great place to get an eclectic mix of foods or combinations that are unexpected. Great drinks and love the atmosphere! Most often go to celebrate birthdays, as it's not the cheapest meal.

The service was excellent, but the food was just so-so. Limited and unusual menu. Parking can be difficult. The atmosphere is noisy and it's tough to hear the person across the small table.
