Fusion at its best

At Revel you have a feeling of eating in the restaurant's kitchen. It is neatly done with a beautiful wooden bar and a big open dining/kitchen room. I'd heard rave reviews about Revel from multiple people, so when the hubby and I were in Seattle a few weeks ago we decided to check it out. We ended up wanting to do a late lunch early dinner, and showed up just past 3pm. We should have paid more attention to the hours as Revel didn't open until 5pm,... More

I've gone often to Revel for lunch since it opened and enjoy bringing out-of-town visitors here. That's because the Korean fusion menu offers unusual dishes; the waitstaff is friendly and attentive; and it is fun to sit at the counter and watch the food preparation. Each menu item arrives in a relatively small dish and the staff encourages family-style dining.... More

While other reviews are mixed, we have consistently enjoyed our experiences here at Revel. Our newest favorite is the Lamb Mizuna salad, the Shrimp-Chinese Sausage dumplings and Dan Dan noodles with Crab. Be sure to select a great beer to pair with this and you will leave content. Yes, the noise can get elevated when it's full of people, but... More

We had a great dinner here. We shared the green papaya salad -- very different from other green papaya salads we have had. The papaya was blended with greens, dates, and cashews. Whatever was in the dressing brought the whole thing together. In addition, My partner had a rice dish and I ordered the kale pancake. Both were very tasty... More

Went for a late lunch with a friend on a weekday and walked in with no wait. Neither of us had been there before but my friend had heard about it and wanted to try it and I checked reviews and thought it would be an interesting place to go Ambiance and setting have been discussed in other reviews. Noise... More

We read some reviews in Revel and thought we would give it a try. We are always seeking out new flavours of fusion cuisine and the chefs were iron chef contestants. We had the Dan dan noodles, pork belly ramen and the Pork Katsu on a scallion biscuit. The Dan Dan noodles were ok they were neither authentic nor were... More

We strolled in about an hour before closing, which I felt horrible about, but no one batted an eye. We asked to be seated outside and were nicely surprised to find heating lamps on the ceiling that actually worked. We ended up getting three dishes to share - two noodle options and one dumpling. We were extremely happy about everything!... More

We got to Revel on a Sunday evening without a reservation back in late August and were told the wait wasn't too bad. About an hour. So we just grabbed a drink at the bar and sat outside watching the sun set. The drink menu is pretty adventurous. But the dinner menu is even more adventurous. We really couldn't decide... More

We stumbled on Revel while walking around the neighborhood...and it was such a good stumble. My boyfriend and I split the burger and ramen which were both amazing! We went for a later lunch so there was really no wait. Would definitely recommend for an off the beat casual lunch.
