It's out here and you have to make a special trip to this part of town but truly a food network type of place. Exceptional. Tapas type of place too each plate around $12. We had fried sardines and fries salmon belly. Licked both plates and kept saying I need to trip advise. You'll not get anything like it in... More

When looking for a restaurant that was “different” we found this one and with many positive reviews we decided to check it out. We were eight people and went on a Sunday night at 6:00 PM. We didn’t know what to expect. Well we found out it was a 3.5 hour wait. Seriously?!?! We ditched the idea and decided to... More

We got to this restaurant in a Friday evening and faced the proverbial 2 hour wait. But boy was it worth it. The food is just simply to die for. Atmosphere so well done. We were seated outside on the patio and when it started getting a bit cool, they fired up the heaters and we were back to being... More

I'll admit...I looked at the menu and was a bit afraid. Didn't seem like there was anything I would like. But ended up trying (and liking) almost everything! The oysters and the sauce that went with it were to die for. The marinated castelvetrano olives- delicious. (My mouth is watering just thinking about them). My favorites (next to the raw... More

Wow! Fantastic oysters. The staff was great. Music fabulous. The night I ate there, there were 5 kinds of oysters. I sampled all 5 Three times. Fresh and briny. I then had the sardines, yummy. The duck and pork Rillettes were wonderful. Nectarine brittle desert. A few beers. And a beautiful night. I highly recommend the Walrus and the carpenter.

People mass at this small watering hole well before its opening time of 4PM. The reason is the wide variety of fresh seafood available here. The place is small, with tables lining one side of the wall and a narrow bar on the other side facing the kitchen and liquor area, and a small outdoor patio. The kitchen is as... More

We left the phone number, and wait for service in a cocktails bar for one hour. However, when we had tasted the oysters with the Muscadet, it was worth the wait. Cold wine dilute the slight metallic taste of oysters, leaving only the sea flavor and juicy meat tenderizer. Relaxed atmosphere, let us have a memorable night.

We were lucky enough to arrive and get one of the last seats at the bar. The menu is fairly small but if you are interested in oysters then I cant imagine a place better than this in the area. They had 7 different types of oysters when we went and unlike most places you could order one oyster rather... More

My husband and I came to Seattle (from CT) to visit with a niece & nephew whom had never tried oysters, of any preparation. We brought them to this restaurant for their "initiation". Fortunately we arrived late afternoon before it was too crowded. Our waiter, along with other staff could not have been more helpful, and friendly (and our young... More

Enjoyed the small plates of well prepared items including fresh oysters on the half shell. Service was pretty good however our group of 4 found the music exceedingly loud. We sat at an outside table and were unable to converse due to the speakers volume.Other diners and waitresses also had to compete with the noise and thus speak loudly adding... More
