Eat More Oysters

I love this restaurant and try to visit it every time I am in the city. Amazing oyster bar, great drinks and tasty small plates. What else do you need? This place lives up to the hype.

The place has a very nice decor, with a choice of outdoor or indoor sitting. The food is great , with an extensive menu for oysters.

Really enjoyed the Walrus. Doing small plates allowed for an eclectic variety of tastes. Waitstaff was very helpful in developing a complete dining experience. Highly recommended!

We heard about this trendy seafood restaurant from Tripadvisor and decided to check it out during our recent trip to Seattle. The restaurant was tugged in an industrial/warehouse area, but it was not difficult to find. We waited for 30 minutes though we got there around 5pm on a Saturday. The place was packed with people. The hostess was very... More

We were looking for a seafood restaurant, but didn't want the typical upscale restaurant where you order one entree and don't get to sample a variety of tastes. In searching TripAdvisor, I came across the Walrus and the Carpenter and after reading reviews and looking at the menu, we decided on it for our seafood dinner. It is a little... More

I consider myself an adventurous eater while on vacation, and was excited to hear about The Walrus and the Carpenter - seafood small plates with a menu that changes daily based on the freshness of ingredients? Sounds like my kind of place. And upon walking in I would have to agree... It is a cooly renovated space inside an industrial-chic... More

This restaurant changes their menu daily and is always searching for the freshest ingredients. The oysters are fresh from the ocean to your plate making them oh so good. I had the black cod their and it was probably one of the best meals of black cod that I have ever had. Some times there is a wait so get... More

If you like oysters, you have to go here when in Seattle! They open at 4:00pm ...we got there at 4:30 and there was still a 20/30 minute wait. There are a couple of cool little places close by to have a cocktail and wait it out - and I'm glad we did. The oysters were fresh, tasty and just... More

New owners, new chef but still the most incredible food in all of Seattle. Got there 20 minutes before opening and a line all ready. Worth the wait. Restaurant on a rainy sunday afternoon packed by 5:30pm. There's really nothing more to add other than worth a trip to Seattle and a wait for any amount of time.

Are here while on a business trip... Asked the server to do "dealer's choice" and we were not disappointed! Loved the deep fried oysters, the octopus, and surprisingly the sardines. Cozy atmosphere with original cocktails and a handful of craft beers. Not cheap but worth every cent.
