The oysters were good. And the water. I liked the water. But that's about all I can say for Blueacre. Everything else was pretty disappointing. And they don't have a gluten-free menu, which in this day and age is kinda sad, especially for a seafood restaurant. The server informed me that most things could be prepared gluten free, but when... Had a really great experience dining here. Food was excellently prepared. We both had seafood dishes. Service was also excellent. Attentive, but not too much so. Very helpful with the menu and recommendations. Wine list was a little weak for me, but still had a few good options. Highly recommend it!

Ate here on the second night of our trip to Seatle and Oregon. We both ordered Halibut, which was one of the most expensive items on the menu. The fish was fresh and well-cooked, but the portion was small for the price that we paid. Accompanying mashed potato, spinach and vegetables were sparse and not very warm. Service was what... More

This restaurant is a little pricier that we are used to paying, but we ordered lobster, so that was the majority of the costs. Nice waitress, fun atmosphere.

I started with a lovely platter of NW oysters. However, I was unfamiliar with the wine list, and our waiter recommended a Chardonnay that was extremely oaky - not at all what one wants in this situation. Service was slow, and even with two waiters acting as a "team," it was often hard to get anyone's attention. I ordered grilled... More

The waitstaff knew the food and was very good at describing the entrees. The chef/owner changes the menu daily, sometimes between lunch and dinner to make sure that only the best fish is being served. He is conscious of the need to serve sustainable seafood and assures that the offerings are sustainable. I had the most amazing King Salmon I... More

Enjoyed a wonderful meal with family at Blueacre. Walking distance to our downtown hotel. Wait staff was professional, informed and friendly. No hovering but available. Seafood was amazing. Fresh, well prepared, well presented. Atmosphere was ideal for chatting and enjoying each others company. Recommended to our other conventioneers. A number agreed and thanked me for the rec. Will be back... More

Easy to get into, nice atmosphere , but don't expect the small trendy feel or quiet. Very good dinner and we were not disappointed - some interesting preparations.

My sister and I enjoyed an amazing seafood dinner here last night. I had the salmon which came with peaches and almonds and roasted potatoes. The salmon was done perfectly and tasted amazing. The portions were huge. My sister enjoyed the halibut - wonderful delicate flavours. Sadly we were too full to enjoy what looked like amazing desserts. I highly... More

Had lunch here while at a conference at the Hyatt at Olive 8. Went back a second time. Salads with seafood were creative and excellent. Service was attentive. Fried corn on the cob was unique- never had that before, nor had I ever had arctic char. Try Blueacre! Wish I had gone back for dinner!
