Tamura came highly recommended by friends in Seattle… and it didn't disappoint at all. I booked with Open Table and totally forgot that I put down that we were visiting from South Carolina and it was our 10th anniversary celebration. From the minute we walked in they congratulated us and we had a chat with several members of the staff... More

The restaurant is in walking distance from our relatives who live just north of downtown Seattle. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, hoping that we get a table despite not having made reservations in time. Our server was very helpful and within less than fifteen minutes we were seated. She continued to provide outstanding service throughout the evening. We started... More

We really liked this place. One of the best we have been to in Seattle or Vancouver. Not too fancy and great atmosphere. The sushi and sashimi was top quality. We will definitely come back. My highlights were the geoduck nigiri and yellowtail belly nigiri. We also had a geoduck meal (cooked) that was fantastic (sorry that I don't recall... More

This is some of the best sushi we have ever eaten! If I lived in Seattle, I would eat here as often as I could afford to!

Our favorite sushi restaurant was closed today so we thought we'd give another sushi restaurant a try. Arrived at 6pm. There were only 4 other people dining when we arrived. Sat at the sushi bar. Sushi chefs were very friendly. Started off with Asahi Super Dry on tap. The albacore sashimi was fresh and delicious and the spider roll was... More

Dining at the sushi bar is probably the best place to be; up close and personal with the chefs who deliver fantastic, fresh sashimi! The prices are on the steep side, but well worth it for the freshness. Make a reservation! Go early as it fills up quickly. All dishes are winners! I appreciate the hot towels offered upon sitting... This restaurant is on an ego trip! Friday night, restaurant is half empty, and a 45 minute wait to be seated...don't think so. I Love Sushi is right down the road. That's where we went, and that's where we should have gone first!.

Sushi Kappo Tamura is a great find in Eastlake! We found last minute reservations via Open Table and were lucky enough to sit at the sushi bar. Great fresh sashimi selection, good appetizers, good beer, wine and sake selections. Music was noticeable but not loud. Excellent! can't wait to return

This is a great restaurant that is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The Sushi was fantastic, but so was everything else on the menu. They have a lot of selection and we really enjoyed it.

TaiChi is an outstanding sushi chef in every way. The sushi is always super fresh and excellently prepared. And he is a smililng and charming presence at the sushi bar, willing to explain each dish and prepare special treats for you. The cooked food is also great. His partner, Steve, runs the restaurant smoothly and has developed some very interesting... More
