An Anomaly

We have been to many airports and, needless to say, it is a true anomaly to find a place that serves relatively healthy and tasty food. Well, this is it. Not perfect (for example the vinaigrette was a little too strong) but overall was very good. If you are tired of the same old burgers and fast... read more

There were loads of people in the airport after 11 looking for bite or drink lucky for me I made it in before last call. I enjoyed a rich deep red with the charcuterie plate that had an awesome truffle tremor cheese. The plate also had good gerkins pickles and assortment of meats.

We decided to eat lunch at Vino Volo in the Seattle airport before our flight to Vancouver. This is a quaint little wine bar with a large selection of good wines. They're food menu is limited but very good quality. Try the Faust Cab Sauv, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Are you serious? This is the most absurd concept that I've heard of in a while. An additional $12 dollars to consume the wine...in the wine bar. This used to be my favorite place in SEATAC, but now I'm perplexed. Apparently vino volo isn't the great business I thought it was. I feel like someone just held me up at... More

Absolutely loved this hidden treasure in the SeaTac airport this weekend. I enjoyed a sommelier's flight and the service/recommendations were divine. I also had a brie and prosciutto sandwich with fig jam = simply divine. In all, the best airport dining experience I've had the pleasure of experiencing!

And the food and wine are great...gourmet in a world of airport fast food and fried food choices. This place is a serene oasis in SeaTac. If you download the vino volo app to your smart phone you get a $2 tasting pour every time you stop in. Tasty salads and tomato soup. Excellent pork tacos. Delicious chili. Smallish portions.

Initially, I have no idea how they get such high caliber staff, but they set a high bar. The wine selections are moderately priced and they are a breath of fresh air in the frenzied world of travel. I'm always pleased to find one in another airport. Great concept and a real treat.

The wine selection here is huge. You can buy wind flights or single glasses. They also have a good selection of bottled wine you can buy and bring with you on the plane on. I like to stop in and get a good bottle to take with me on vacation or trips. The snacks are very good and go great... More

I love this chain of airport wine bars. Amazing selection of wine flights from different regions, excellent & healthy gourmet food selection (great small bites and salads)...perfect way to begin or end a trip. Makes flying feel special again and is a treat for any discerning palate. Fantastic ambience, too---leather lounge chairs, jazz music, knowledgeable and friendly staff (in every... More

Waiting for our red-eye flight we stopped in for a glass of wine but instead decided on a flight of California Kings (all red). The wines were a Merlot from Duckhorn Wine Company called Decoy; a Zin from Dry Creek Vineyards called Heritage and an Estate Cab from Alexander Valley Vineyards. All three were good but the Merlot was exceptional.... More
