I see that they are under new management and I hope that means they have cleaned up the place. It has such great potential to be a little charmer on the lake but the food was awful and the service even worse. I ordered a noodle dish with shrimp in it and they brought it to me with unclean shrimp... More

Lakeside Bistro is no longer. It is now known as Le Bistro, and it is still very good. The menu is all over the globe. Sort of Vietnamese, sort of French, sort of Southern/Soul Food. Almost elegant, definitely quickly, and with great service. Some places are terrible but always crowded, others are really good and deserve more business. The salmon... More

SUPER weekend brunch. Live music on weekend nights. Seafood dishes to die for with Vietnamese items too. Wine list has good variety. Parking hit or miss; Very small for live music.

The food is great, dinner better than the buffet brunch. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes are large, and the menu eclectic. Sure, it's Vietnamese, but you can get steak and mashed potatoes, or halibut, or Southern Style BBQ ribs. The cooking is creative, innovative. The place has an odd shape and it's small, but it's a fun, friendly place... More

My husband and I tried the bistro for the first time on Saturday. It's easy to find on Rainier Avenue - not the most scenic area, but the food and music make up for it. They have jazz music that starts at 7 which was a pleasant way to enjoy our meal. Our waiter was very friendly, took the time... More

We tried this new restaurant out today as it was in the Entertainment book and we thought it was time to use the book. The Lakeside Bistro is close to the south tip of Lake Washington. We ordered their signature filet mignon. It came sizzling as promised, and the beef was very tasty. The seafood delight was absolutely wonderful! I... More

The menu at this small restaurant has several tempting dishes from which to choose. Or choices were served in good time by a proficient, welcoming staff, and were delicious. The ambiance is pleasant and the prices quite reasonable.

This is an exceptional restaurant. Unassuming from the outside, but you have superb dining experience inside without going broke. Michael is truly an inspired chef and his food is truly vibrant and exquisite. I drive half an hour on an Interstate highway to eat there and our friends who live an hour away have been joining us there multiple times,... More
