I can only reiterate what the other reviews say... If you like Greek food, you'll like Plaka Estiatorio! Know that the menu rotates a little by season, so what you had last time may not be available, but just try something and you 'll no doubt enjoy that too! I love that it's a family restaurant, with fresh, well prepared... More

Service was fast and friendly. Everything we ate was delicious. We tried a tomato, cucumber, onion, olive and feta salad, a Souvlaki plate with skewers of lamb and chicken, and three of their dips with warm pita wedges. My favorite was the red pepper dip and I'm normally not much of a bell pepper eater. My husband shared a "meat... More

Small plates are very good. Really enjoyed the grilled octopus. Spring Lamb was nicely seasoned. After dinner, my battery died in my car and our waiter helped jump start us in the POURING rain. Great food and even better service. Thanks!

Very disappointing...$6 for 1 tbs of hummus and pita bread, $2 for additional tzatziki (tiny amount)...the three of us enjoyed the taste, but had to continue to a frozen yogurt place to be full. And we are normal size, not obese...

Just returning from a visit to Vancouver, BC where we dined at a wonderful Greek restaurant there, we were in the mood to try a Greek spot in Seattle we had never been to, Plaka Estiatorio in Ballard. Wow, were we ever impressed! The menu is quite creative and has numerous dishes we had never seen before. We started out... More

Went here last Sunday (07/22/12). Great Food! Ordered Humas, tiziki, red pepper ( waitress pick), Smelt are excellent!, perfect batter and deep fried. Salad was great all fresh produce. Wife had beef and lamb sausage. I had the lamb chops, or as the owner refered to them as lampsicles. And yes they were to finger-lickin good. Chops came with lemon... More

The food here is delicious, and while the menu has all the Greek standards, it has many things you wouldn't ordinarily find (dandelions, smelt) and it's all delicious. The place is pretty in a casual, homey way. The staff is friendly and competent. The place is roomy with lots of tables, but feels cosy. Highly recommend.

This was our fourth visit to Plaka and it continues to hit the mark. This is a small family restaurant that cares and it shows! Our favorite time to go is around 2:00 PM and there’s almost no one there and we order off of the dinner menu. The lamb chops with roasted potatoes and green beans were excellent and... More
