It's a little place in Capitol Hill, with rustic interior, open kitchen and friendly staff. The hand-cut egg pasta with butter and fried sage is a must-have. The pan seared Idaho trout is another excellent dish, if you'd prefer something lighter.

Went to Spinasse while on a six-day re-charging vacation - it came highly recommended by friends. It surpassed expectations (which is hard, we are foodies and travel extensively), so much so that we booked it again for our last night in Seattle. We shared the halibut bruschetta, fine cut pasta with butter and sage and the beef short ribs with... More

What a find! From the crostini with anchovy to a baked oyster starter, this restaurant did not disappoint. The sage and butter homemade pasta was delectable, the trout, divine. We loved the presentation, the delicate merging of flavors, and the impressive wine list. Spinasse is a winner.

We eat here once a week and each time we have a marvelous meal. Their menu is authentic Piedmont food and the wines as well are from the region of Italy that produces some of the worl'd finest wines. The choice of Barolo's is almost too much to handle. The home made pasta is rolled right in front of you... More

Did the Menu Degustazione. A family style tasting of every antipasto, primo and secondo on the menu. EVERY ONE! Way to much food. But to experience all of the kitchen's talent made for an outstanding and unforgettable evening. Five stars does not do justice for Spinasse.

Spinasse consistently serves excellent food. Our waitress was a wealth of information about the menu. I enjoyed her explanation regarding how Spinasse cooks the braised beef short ribs. After hearing the explanation, we had to order it and it didn't disappoint. In addition to being knowledgable, our waitress was attentive and efficient. Other than the food, she was key to... More

This restaurant was recommended by 2 different friends--one whose son lives in Seattle and another who has lived in Seattle her entire life. We were able to make a reservation for a Monday evening just a few days prior using OpenTable. We were unfamiliar with many of the menu choices and our waitress (Angela K) was excellent with her descriptions... More

I was in Seattle last weekend for a girl's trip, and my foodie friend Karina did not disappoint with a single restaurant pick during the trip. Spinasse was definitely top notch. Jason was our server, and he was both extremely knowledgeable AND a trip. We enjoyed the fennel salad (haven't enjoyed fennel since I discovered it while living in Paris),... More
