this place is seriously good. the ambiance is quaint, simple, & intimate. they can serve any of the cocktails from artusi as well as their own cocktail list, and the service can be just okay or great, but where this place really shines is the food. i love to come during different times of the year because this gem transitions... I took my boyfriend here on his surprise bday trip to Seattle. It was my first time to visit the city. This restaurant was amazing, from the ambience, to the service, to the food. Its small enough to feel special and intimate, but not so small that it was crowded. Great Italian wine selection.

venue was charming and our first server was lovely but she had to leave so we got another server who was not helpful. I told him I had a medical stomach issue and asked if the cod dinner could be steamed , no sauce and if I could substitute the kale with the steame spinach. He said I would have... More

We were a group of friends excited to try out Spinasse for our supper club but I have to say we had greater expectations considering all the vibe. The starters were quite good, the butter lettuce salad was probably the best item on the whole menu that night, and the selection of the house antipasti gave us a chance to... More

We came to celebrate a birthday on a Tuesday night. No reservations, but they had a table for us. The seats seemed really low - or the table was really high. Either way, it was uncomfortable, so we moved to the counter top. Turns out that was the best move we could have made - personal attention from Amanda, the... More

This venue was within walking distance of my B&B the Gaslight Inn and I dined solo. Got a comfortable table against the wall and my waitress was very attentive and engaging. Food was excellent though the wait times at the end of the meal - why do so many great restaurants have this issue? - were too long. Definitely recommend.

I wish I knew you could dine at the bar without a reservation because I got stuck with a 5:30 time as my only option and I would have preferred a bit later. That being said, even though I was a solo diner I never felt rushed or neglected. The food is fresh and the pasta was delicious! I tried... More

We brought newbie friends on our third visit and the food and experience lived up to our build-up. The pastas were all stand-outs, the mushroom flan served over braised red cabbage was a revelation, and the rabbit meatballs was the top-ranked dish among our group of four. Our server's red wine recommendations were both perfect matches to the meal. I'd... More

Pro: Delicious food, lively atmosphere. The pasta lives up to its billing. Cons: The service was a bit too casual. The courses took lots of time to get there, if they did get there at all (one of our sides was forgotten). The problem is, with all that down time to chat, you will likely be sharing conversations with neighbors... More
