Best dining experience I have had in Seattle.

This intimate Italian restaurant was a 10 plus. My husband and I dined here on a Seattle friends recommendation and it was some of the best food I have had. We started with the roast beet, fingerling potato salad, had a primi plate of fresh noodles with sage and butter. For the main courses, my... read more

The service was impeccable (I've frequently butchered restaurants for lesser service), the pasta ridiculously good, the appetizers amazing (how do they get their asparagus so tender?), and the desserts divine. Not s single thing I cannot race about. Wish I lived here.

We are still talking about this dinner! If you could have walked by our table, you would have heard groans and moans, the food was so good. I was worried about the place living up to its hype, but it did that and more. First of all, the space is lovely as can be. Casual, but elegant. You don't have... More

This restaurant and its chef were recommended to us, and we found it hard to get a reservation. When we arrived (for a very early dinner when they opened since it was the only reservation we could get), there was no one in the restaurant. When we left around 7:30, the restaurant was only half full, at most. I'm not... More

After reading several great reviews on Cascina Spinasse from various sites, we decided to checkout this restaurant during our Seattle visit. We are very happy that we made the dinning reservation. The service was excellent. Since everything on the menu looks amazing, we ended up trying several different appetizers and entrees - tapa style. The crab cakes were prepared perfectly.... More

Good food, good wine, great dating spot located in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice bar adjacent to the restaurant with a good choice of appetizers. Perfect to wait for your table to be ready.

Still talking about our meals and it has been a few weeks since we ate there. Do some research on Italian cocktails (aperitiv and digestif) and wines beforehand to capitalize on a full italian dining experience. If you are looking for pasta in red sauce try somewhere else. Pasta is homemade and delicious.

After 4 visits to this quintessential Seattle restaurant, I am convinced that Spinasse is worth flying to Seattle to visit. No kidding. Just book a ticket if you aren't a local, and visit this wonderful city for the sole purpose of dining at Spinasse. This is a small, European style restaurant that is hard to find, and they like it... More

this place is seriously good. the ambiance is quaint, simple, & intimate. they can serve any of the cocktails from artusi as well as their own cocktail list, and the service can be just okay or great, but where this place really shines is the food. i love to come during different times of the year because this gem transitions... I took my boyfriend here on his surprise bday trip to Seattle. It was my first time to visit the city. This restaurant was amazing, from the ambience, to the service, to the food. Its small enough to feel special and intimate, but not so small that it was crowded. Great Italian wine selection.
