When I was enjoying a very nice glass of wine on the outside patio, it took me a while to select what to order. The menu takes the freshest ingredients and creates a culinary delight. It was easy to recognize the theme of using only Farm Fresh. The starters are great. I had the pate and could have stopped there.... More

Again last night we had a fantastic meal. The Socca Gillette is a must have - always unique and delicious. And the Frite's with truffle aioli are to die for. This time we also tried the pork belly with pickled rhubarb and salmon - both were delightful. The ambiance in the restaurant - whether at the bar or on the... More

Great spot for brunch on a Sunday while shopping at the Ballard Farmers Market. Specials are always delicious. Service is good. Urban bistro atmosphere.

We had a cross section of meals from the burger to the mussels and steak frites. All were decidedly average. The service was far from attentive and the men's toilet had a wait one would expect at a stadium. Parking can be next to non existent. With wine, we spent $400 and all agreed this was not worth it. Won't... More

I just love the whole authentic French Bistro vibe you get as soon as you walk in the door here! Decor is perfect, with all the right touches to make you think you're practically strolling into a little place along the Champs de Elysees...the place just hums with the vibrancy of happy diners enjoying themselves, and the foods is delicious!... Bastille has become our favorite new "go to" French bistro, even though we have to cross the city to get there, which means we have to like it a LOT. The food makes you feel as if you've been plopped into the middle of Paris. The mussels and fries ("moules frites") are our absolute favorite, but everything we have tried... More

I really like the ambiance, old, dark, like a French cafe, tv playing old black and white movies, the bar is ample , a table with a fireplace, all looks great. I made reservations on Thu night, we waited a couple of minutes, all was good, friendly hostess and friendly server. We have a party of two, got a nice... More

I have come to this restaurant twice. Once about a year ago and I had to come back. It is locatedin Ballard and on Sundays there is a charming farmers market right out front. The morning cocktails do not disappoint. Now I can't overstate this...I love, LOVE the eggs in cocotte. I had it last year and I had it... More

I do! This place definitely reminded me of France. The food and wine were delicious and the service was very good. I would recommend the mussels, the lamb, and the pâté.

I have eaten here a number of times, always with outstanding results. This time I tried it for happy hour, which was a treat. Falafel and burgers at almost half price, plus a carafe of house wine for $10. They have a huge patio (enclosed, heated) where you can even bring kids for the happy hour menu.
