We are here while in town and had previously eaten at the same place in Bellevue. Both are good. Our server, Pedro, did a good job of describing the items we were interested in ordering. His service throughout the night was excellent. Our entrees included cedar planked salmon and ahi. Both were excellent. We got a trio of small desserts... More

On a recent vacation to Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula, we dined at the Seastar. My dish, the Northwest Seafood Stew was absolutely delicious. My husband's swordfish was rather bland and lackluster. He probably chose the wrong dish as he does not eat artichokes and they were part of the meal. The wait staff were all for friendly and watchful.... More

The fish was terrific. We had an absolutely excellent trio of scallop followed by delicious salmon. However, the smoked broccoli with the salmon was a failure and undercooked. Our bill for 2 was $180 with an average bottle of wine so I would have hoped for better. As ever in USA the waiting staff were constantly asking how it was.... More

Was part of a group for a business diner. Very good service, nice private room, and a nice wine selection. But at that price point I expect food to be more "fine dining" rather than "the classics with a twist in too large quantities". We started with oysters and a appetizer tower. Excellent oysters! Appetizers were OK but a bit... More

Being from Omaha, I feel I know how to appreciate a good steak. But when in Seattle, we knew we needed to try some Pacific NW seafood and were taken to the Seastar by my in-laws (Seattle locals) I had salmon, it was amazing (as I'm sure everything else is on their menu). Wonderful atmosphere and dessert menu! If you're... More

Easy walk from the Westin, sat at the bar. Qucik and efficient service, but the ahi was very fresh and wonderful! Nice place, but felt comforatable coming in as a casual.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday and it did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in, the staff greated us by our name and wished my boyfriend a happy birthday, making it feel personal. Everything on the menu looked promising and they had a great selection of wine by the glass. We opted for... More

Eclectic mix of varied seafood in cooked and sushi form. I enjoyed the salmon. Associates who joined me enjoyed the Mahi Mahi and the Ahi Tuna. Caesar salad was nothing to write home about. The dressing was not great. Breads were OK but a little too crusty (from a guy who loves crusty bread). Attractive atmosphere. Not too noisy. Good... More

We arrived in Seattle to see friends --they had reserved a seafood restaurant, per our request, & chose Seastar especially for the ability to actually carry on a conversation! It did not disappoint! We selected a bottle of wine from an impressive list that included many moderately priced options. Our sushi appetizers were very good and the smoked salmon deviled... More
