Description: Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar has been voted best seafood restaurant in...
Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar has been voted best seafood restaurant in Seattle by the reader's of Seattle Magazine, in 2010, 2011 and 2012. The Seastar wine list has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" making both Seastar Restaurants the only Seattle and Bellevue seafood restaurants with this award. With an extraordinary rating of 26 from ZAGAT, Seastar has the highest rating for food of any seafood restaurant in the Northwest. Chef Howie's first location opened in downtown Bellevue in the spring of 2002, quickly winning numerous awards from Wine Spectator, Food & Wine, Sunset Magazine, and KING 5 Televisions Evening Magazines "Best New Restaurant in Western Washington". In January of 2009 we expanded to our Seattle location in the South Lake Union neighborhood south of downtown Seattle. Seastar Restaurant and raw Bar is proud to be Seatte's most awarded restaurant. At Seastar our chefs use local, seasonal, sustainable, quality ingredients to provide our guests with innovative menus and memorable experiences. We offer unmatched service and hospitality in a warm inviting environment. Providing our guests with great food, great wine, great service and unexpected hospitality and value is our goal. We offer incredible value with our 45 minute, $14 lunch, our Award winning Happy Hour, and our hospitable service. Whether your celebrating a special event or just dropping by for a quick raw bar snack Seastar has something for everyone.

Seastar is a treat for us Vancouver residents, every time we head down to Seattle. The first time we dined there was out of sheer convenience, as the restaurant was in the hotel we were staying at. We wanted to have one fine dining experience and decided to try the place out. We went all out that night, and randomly... More

We have friends who live in Chicago and are in Seattle several times a year and Seastar is our place to meet. Last time we had a fabulous dinner in Seastar Bellevue and this time a wonderful lunch in Seastar Seattle. A little hard to find but it sits above Whole Foods and you actually enter the store to use... More

Went to Seastar in August. One if the best seafood restaurants I've had the pleasure to dine at. Service was impeccable and food was stunning. If you are in Seattle, Seastar is a must.

My wife and I were in Seattle for a post Xmas mini vacation. We found this place on the Google as it was highly rated. It's inside the Pan Pacific which is a beautiful hotel and we'll likely stay there next time we're in Seattle. Once seated, our server Eric was a gracious host and was happy to guide us... More

One of my favorite dishes at Seastar is the Tower with the best crab cakes, shrimp, and scallops, but this time we decided to try the 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu. Wow, were we impressed with the variety, presentation, and fantastic flavors. The amuse bouche was delectable mushroom soup, then fresh oysters with champagne and caviar, next came amazing ahi tartare... More

Happened across Seastar Restaurant while googling online and so thankful we did! The four of us had the best meal! It started with the Seastar Tower (trio of appetizers that included shrimp, crab cakes and scallops). I'm allergic to shrimp so unable to taste but the group loved it. The sauces that accompanied each appetizer were so delicious, a little... More

Seastar was a pretty good trek from our hotel and we were initially disappointed with slow, somewhat inattentive service at the beginning of our visit. Then the staff kicked in an we ended up with some truly amazing seafood presented with a fine dining flair. All in all our evening turned out to be a highlight of our trip.
