Great salmon and tuna sashimi appetizers. Dinner and service good. Appreciated descent kids menu that wasn't hot dog, corn dog, or chicken strips, actually had grilled salmon, sashimi, or chicken pasta option, though pricey for kids meals.

People flock to the Pacific Northwest for the freshest seafood. So Salmon season is the best time to come for its cuisine. Seastar is one of a handful of such places where the formula is similar and destined to work well: a proper raw bar of fresh oysters and crudos, Dungeness Crabs, Cedar-plank grilled Alaskan Salmon, and of course Halibut.... We wanted something close to our location and this fit the bill. Not a cheap restaurant but everything was delicious. My husband was especially pleased with the corn-crab chowder. Great spinach salad with strawberries and five spiced cashews. We both had the chicken which was very good, lots of goat cheese, spinach and sundries tomatoes. Wonderful wine list and super... More

Very pleasant dining experience with fresh, delicious seafood/sushi and attentive service, though the staff could use a bit more warmth and/or sense of humor. Lovely atmosphere adds to the experience - worth a trip or do not miss if you are in this part of town.

Three of us ate at the Sea Star Restaurant while staying at the Pan Pacific. My first course was the crab and corn chowder. It was a standout - the best I've ever tasted. My daughter and son-in-law had maguro sashimi, California roll, and ebi nigiri that were also very good. The Maytag blue cheese salad had excellent ingredients but... More

Very fresh seafood served elegantly. We have eaten many time at the Bellevue location and we were not disappointed in Seattle. The food was excellent and the service made us feel very special. Great wines also.

Wonderful service. Our waiter was very accommodating. My steak was slightly overcooked on one end, but it had a wonderful sauce.

So a friend and I visited Seattle for a quick trip to see a concert and visit some new friends. On our final night, Sunday, we were sitting in a restaurant down on the water but they insisted we go to one of their favorite Seattle restaurants, "Seastar", so off we went. My friend and I had been walking around... More
