We had a business dinner for 4 and everything was perfect. The service staff was very attentive and anyone who walked by our table was more than willing to help. The selection is pretty large and the food we chose was excellent an served piping hot. All in all this is a good spot.

After reviewing the reviews of many restaurants we chose this one. I wanted something special for our 10th anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and it got better from there. We started with wine while we looked over the menu, our server never made us feel rushed and that was great. We chose the 1 pound... More

This place is in the middle of Seattle and clearly caters to a higher end clientele. The interior is well adorned and set up for fine dining. Other than that, I wasn't impressed. We met a group of friends from out of town at this location. The service was very good and made our visit enjoyable. The staff is attentive... More

This seafood-focused restaurant is the third owned by chef/owner John Howie (two SeaStars and John Howie Steakhouse), all of which are top-notch, with superb staff, exceptional menus and great ambience. Although spendy, it's well worth visiting, especially for a special night out.

I enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration with friends at Seastar Restaurant in Seattle. While the atmosphere was busy, our table for 10 was located where we felt we had our own little corner. Food was excellent - from the tower appetizer to the oysters, and the King crab legs were amazing. All entrees brought rave reviews. Our server Rory did... More

The whole experience was great. The staff was great from the start and seating was easy. We started off with some oysters which were outstanding. They had a variety and the waiter explained each variety. The complimentary bread was fresh and very good. I ordered the scallops which were cooked perfectly and came with some very tasty lentils. The people... More

The food was very good and this was overall an enjoyable experience. But two factors stood out about our visit. If you're looking at the MP selections, don't be shy about asking what the market price is. One of our party ordered an MP special and we didn't ask and suffered a sticker shock when we got the bill. Not... More

This is a great Seattle restaurant, with innovative dishes and great service, we stopped there for lunch walking back from the Chihuly Garden and went back for dinner before leaving. I recommend the seafood jambalaya and the grilled crag and cheddar. The raw bar is first rate for evening delight. The wine selection is more than adequate. I will definitely... More

We went on a Monday night without reservations and a party of five. Fortunately for us (not them), the restaurant was less than half full. We were seated immediately and the service was excellent. The attitude and professionalism of the staff led me to believe that this was the standard and not based on the limited number of diners. Everyone... More
