Delicious pizza with quality cheese and meats, not-too-thick crust. We go here more often than any other. Good list of beers, sit outside or in, it is consistently good. However, the takeaway, to-go pizzas are less consistent and occasionally are a disappointment (hence the reduced stars).

We really enjoyed having a pizza and beer at Flying Squirrel. We sat on the back patio under the lights and had a lovely evening. The pizza was quite good; we like simple pizzas and that's what we got. I don't think pizza needs a lot of frills to be good. This place proves that! I would go again.

This is the best pizza I've had in Seattle. They have an excellent selection of diverse and interesting combinations. Love their crust. Great prices too. Couldn't complain about a thing. A friend ordered a drink, she didn't like it, they replaced it with something else. Great service!

Stopped in for a quick bite, did not try the pizza although it looked amazing and the salads looked enormous. Restaurant seats approximately thirty, bar stools surround the bar that seats around ten with a few scattered high top tables. The meatballs were amazing, the rosemary white bean dip was delicious although it lacked any rosemary taste. Fun dipping dough....pizza... More

All the pizzas are great, and ordering 1/2 each means you don't have to choose. Salads are delish and the beer selection is great. Eventhe gluten free pizza crust is tasty. We live by the MapleLeaf locationand wander downat least twice a month.

Everyone knows that outstanding pizza is dependent on the quality of crust, sauce and topping. Kudos to Flying Squirrel for nailing all 3! And a great beer list to wash it down. A favorite stop for my son -- this was my first visit, and will definitely be back (even though I'm out of state!)

We went to the Maple Hill Flying Squirrel and had a very good pizza with a great crust along with a salad all made with fresh meats and local veggies .The staff was friendly and efficient and seems a lot of local families come to have pizza in a laid -back place.

The pizza, salads and beers are incredible here. There is really no other place by the lake to eat especially at night. The crust is just the way I like it and the pulled pork had very good flavor, I only wished there was a little less cilantro. There certainly isn't anything for atmosphere and there is very little room,... More

Went to the one near Seward Park. Cool little joint, great service! As far as the pizza, nailed it on the crust, great toppings, all local sourced. Yum!!!

Flying Squirrel has three neighborhood locations (Seward Park, Ballard, and Maple Leaf). Thin-crust pizzas are available in a variety of interesting combinations, or you can build your own combo. I was particularly impressed by the range of other menu items (and they also offer a gluten-free personal pizza option), and would be happy to return here just for one of... More
