A pleasant surprise.

We arrived at our motel around 8:00 pm and asked for a good near by place to eat. Branzino was suggested so we went there. I can't remember what my wife ordered, I think some kind of a salad, but I ordered a pasta dish that had some short rib meat with it. It was wonderful and when my wife... read more

This place is just around the corner from theVRBO we were staying in. We really wanted to dine at the sushi place at the other end of the block. But alas, they were very busy and there was a 45 minute wait. We made a decision to eat at Branzino which was not busy at all (we should have taken... More

Had a late dinner here after a long, hot day in Seattle. We sat on the street patio which made for great people watching. Despite arriving close to closing time, the service was great! The grilled octopus was awesome and the antipasti platter huge! The tables were a little small for all the food our party of 4 had, but... More

Great meal! Despite the fact that we went in to the restaurant close to closing time the service and the food were both great. We ordered fresh oysters, grilled octopus and an antipasti plate. It was a HOT night and we sat out on the street side patio and enjoyed both the cool breeze and watching people walk their dogs.

We went there one other time, and the only thing we could remember we liked was the carpaccio, which was excellent. So, Groupon in hand, we went there to get cool and have some food on this 88 degree day. Not the place to go to cool off! There wasn't much difference in the temp inside and out when we... More

Ok... Along our walk we passed by Branzio's for our oysters and Brussel Sprouts. Spencer was engaging and helpful in our choices which were delicious to say the least. The patio seats were wonderful and a perfect ambiance to a killer date night with my wonderful wife.

I think this is a place you have to visit and just go with the flow. These people really care about doing a good job, but there seems to be a bit of Seattle informality in the air. I have to admit I was not thrilled to wait for about 10 minutes to get my cocktail while watching the bartender... More

Our second stop over for the restaurant week is Branzino, This one comes highly recommended by our friends and we found out in person why ? It was a cold rainy day, just the right weather one hearty Italian meal. We were quickly ushered in and shown our tables by our host who also happened to be our waitress. Branzino... More

A corporate dinner at Branzino was a night of firsts for me. First time I ate Brussel sprouts I actually iiked and first time I ever ate gnocchi, which I absolutely loved. Also had a lot of wine to drink. This smallish restaurant had a cozy neighborhood feel but the service and food of fine dining. I did not like... More

UNIMPRESSED! They were way understaffed as the hostess was also the waitress, bartender, bus person, and you get the picture. Food took too long to arrive and they ran out of their namesake, the Branzino. If your restaurant is named for its best dish, you should never run out. Or at least you should account for enough NOT to run... More
