Little Italian Flair

Never been before or heard of and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service was. We showed up without reservations, seated quickly and attended to. They offer only one type of beer, no selection Belgian White. We had wine by the glass and they didn't offer any Italian wine by the... read more

We just ate at Branzino. In a city with so many good restaurants, there is no reason why anyone should ever choose this one. It's obviously going out of business. We went there because it was close to where we were staying and they had a wide range of seafood, none of which was actually available. It took 3 hours... More

Not much to say other than as we entered the partially filled restaurant we noticed wait staff and bartenders engaged in separate conversations occasionally folding a napkin or two, looking at order tickets, anything but providing service. We sat for 10 minutes even nodded to the wait staff but to no avail. As we were leaving the bartender noticed and... More

This used to be such a great restaurant but it has obviously changed ownership. After being left standing at the door waiting for someone to notice us (place had only 10 or so customers)for several minutes, our waitress did not bring plates for our shared entree, no bread was offered for the mussels (gotta have bread with mussels) ,only brought... A romantic spot with a nice bar. A limited menu but in our sampling of it everthing was excellent. We had the grilled octopus, roasted chicken, brussel sprouts, and the chocolate creme brulee. Would order each again and recommend them to other diners. The octopus was slightly over grilled (a bit frizzled in spots) and a little tougher than ideal,... More

Atmosphere was great, but the homemade pasta was beyond delicious! Spot on to what we had in Italy recently. This young chef is going places!

We visited on a late Saturday evening and they weren't busy. We had the house pizza and the grilled octopus. Both were fabulous! But it was kind of strange that the first server didn't know what kind of fish a branzino is (c'mon this is Seattle!). We were offered water which didn't come until our food. And offered bread which... More

We've eaten here a number of times and the food is really good and the service is fine, although it's taken several visits to connect with the staff for them to make us feel welcome returning. The drinks are very good and so is the food. We haven't had anything bad to eat there and I would recommend the gnocchi,... More

We arrived at our motel around 8:00 pm and asked for a good near by place to eat. Branzino was suggested so we went there. I can't remember what my wife ordered, I think some kind of a salad, but I ordered a pasta dish that had some short rib meat with it. It was wonderful and when my wife... More

This place is just around the corner from theVRBO we were staying in. We really wanted to dine at the sushi place at the other end of the block. But alas, they were very busy and there was a 45 minute wait. We made a decision to eat at Branzino which was not busy at all (we should have taken... More
