Once in a lifetime because that's all I could afford! Dinner for 3 came to $300 (drinks, salad, entree, dessert, wine, coffee.) The atmosphere is very hunt club elegant, service was very good, food was good (lobster tail was fabulous, scallops were awesome, salmon was served with a sauce that was way too sweet) and don't bother with the chocolate... The food was pretty good, but for the portion size severely overpriced! $43 for risotto (3 tbsps) and 6 scallops was crazy! The service was nice and they let us bring a birthday cake in for my hubby. The server was lovely and the restaurant was very nice. I won't return as the prices are simply to high for me... More

I was in Seattle on business and chose Capitol grill. It was fabulous but to be enjoyed best, go with your spouse, business partners or friends. It was loud and lively. I'll go back with loved ones, for sure.

This is a great steak place but last night we had scallops and Chilean sea bass. The scallps were cooked perfectly on a bed of luscios rizzoto. My wife had the Chilean Sea bass that she would not stop raving about. The drinks were great, a great wine list and our waiter, Aram, was spot on perfect. Capped off with... More

While I wouldn't say that the Capital Grille is particularly innovative in terms of cuisine, I would say that this is familiar food done extremely well. The filet mignon and the crab and lobster burger are both fantastic. Great whipped mashed potatoes and great green beans. The grapefruit soda and the mint lemonade are fun for children and adults. The... More

Went there the day after thanksgiving for lunch this time and had a wonderful, relaxing, stress relieving time with a good lady. The menu was just awesome sooooo much to choose from all very good. The sandwiches are hearty yummy, the salmon mango salad was fantastic and something to come back for.

There are far too many fantastic restaurants in Seattle to bother with this place. Incredibly overpriced and very poor service. Note to server: if you can't remember the orders without writing them down, then just please write them down. I can't imagine why anyone would ever eat here twice.

I was part of a large group that dined here tonight. I requested a Gluten Free menu as I have Celiac. When they brought my salad it was full of croutons. My entree was served with dipping sauces that were full of gluten. I can not understand how a well established restaurant can clearly serve a person with Celiac food... More

Went to the Capital Grille last minute on Thanksgiving. Managed to get a table at 6pm which was a surprise. Our server was tremendous (Matthew?). The way he described the menu and wine options made me think he had a stake in the place. He was fantastic. We all went with the traditional Thanksgiving menu and it was very good.... More
