that alone does it for us, but tasty mains and attentive intelligent service was a plus! Caesar salad is better at Nando's but steak was very good.

We were tired and hungry after our cross country flight from NY to Seattle. The Capital Grill was within walking distance of our hotel and we slipped in early with no reservation. We were promptly seated in a lovely booth and given menus to peruse. Lots of tempting dishes and all costly( just so you know). I had the shaved... More

It's unusual to have a "perfect" experience, but this place offered a combo of attentive but not overly-intrusive service and great food served exactly as ordered. I'm looking forward to returning!

Had lunch here after viewing the gingerbread houses at the Sheraton. We were a mixed group....young children, young adults, and seniors. There was something good on the menu for everyone. Other than the Manhattan clam chowder (skimpy.. mostly broth) all the food was excellent. The restaurant was busy, the server was a little spaced out, and the food didn't arrive... More

Enjoyed dinner at Capital GRille before heading to the Fifth Avenue Theatre. Wonderful night out overall. Food was delicious, nicely presented and our waiter friendly, attentive but not too involved. Several of our party (ladies) had only appetizers and salads, since the servings are generous (they match the prices.) Not sure we would go back simply becasue of the cost... More

Once in a lifetime because that's all I could afford! Dinner for 3 came to $300 (drinks, salad, entree, dessert, wine, coffee.) The atmosphere is very hunt club elegant, service was very good, food was good (lobster tail was fabulous, scallops were awesome, salmon was served with a sauce that was way too sweet) and don't bother with the chocolate... The food was pretty good, but for the portion size severely overpriced! $43 for risotto (3 tbsps) and 6 scallops was crazy! The service was nice and they let us bring a birthday cake in for my hubby. The server was lovely and the restaurant was very nice. I won't return as the prices are simply to high for me... More

I was in Seattle on business and chose Capitol grill. It was fabulous but to be enjoyed best, go with your spouse, business partners or friends. It was loud and lively. I'll go back with loved ones, for sure.

This is a great steak place but last night we had scallops and Chilean sea bass. The scallps were cooked perfectly on a bed of luscios rizzoto. My wife had the Chilean Sea bass that she would not stop raving about. The drinks were great, a great wine list and our waiter, Aram, was spot on perfect. Capped off with... More

While I wouldn't say that the Capital Grille is particularly innovative in terms of cuisine, I would say that this is familiar food done extremely well. The filet mignon and the crab and lobster burger are both fantastic. Great whipped mashed potatoes and great green beans. The grapefruit soda and the mint lemonade are fun for children and adults. The... More
