Great Steaks in Romantic Setting

I've eaten here four or five times now and the food has been consistently good every time. I haven't had one dish I haven't enjoyed. The service has always been excellent. My favorite dish is actually the French Onion soup. The wood paneled interior and soft lights make a nice setting for a... read more

This place is great from the bar to the tables. Excellent staff at all points. We had another great server, Anna. I had the scallops which I always order when they are on the menu. Cooked perfectly with risotto absolutely fabulous. My wife had the copper river salmon which has just arrived from Alaska, she rated it as one of... More

I made a last minute reservation on Friday May 15 2015 for my fist year anniversary and they just simply rock, the service given and the food was extremely good: great welcoming, decoration in the table, complementary champagne, complementary little appetizer from the chef, complementary dessert with decoration, and the server (Aram, C) was great. We had: Au Gratin Potatoes... More

The presentation was simple, a large Ahi Tuna steak with a light breading of nuts on the top only, with 3 light sauce options. The fish melted in my mouth like butter. FANTASTIC, Delightful dinner. The service is top notch, the atmosphere comforting.

While touring downtown buildings, we were looking for some quiet seclusion from the city streets, so wandered in here. It is decorated in rich, dark wood with a welcoming atmosphere. I had one of their flat price lunch specials for $18.00, with clam chowder and steak sliders. Both were excellent. Individual glasses of wine were a bit expensive, but not... More

The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection with a peppercorn sauce that did not overpower the subtle flavor of the mild cut of beef. Tender, moist, what can I say? Done right. Service was excellent. Our server paid attention and took care of our needs but was not intrusive. Had oysters on the half shell to start that were sweet... More

I visited the Capital for late-night drinks on several occasions. The friendly and accommodating bar staff and quite atmosphere were perfect as a traditional, dark-wood, classy bar.

Went to celebrate a couple of birthdays Saturday night. Brought a magnum of Quilced Creek for the occasion and the modest corkage fee was waived. Excellent, well informed server (who shared a glass with us) suggested we try the Calamari with hot cherry peppers which was delish! The bone-in filets were cooked perfectly and were terrific. My wife's steak &... More

Our first visit here was wonderful! Capital Grille was a place we told friends not to miss when in Seattle. Then we had a couple experiences that made us not go there when visiting. Last night we decided to give it another try... First off, the wine list is presented to you on an iPad. That was interesting and fun... More

We were quite wowed by our visit to this restaurant. We had dinner there before the symphony. The restaurant space is lovely and most seating seems to be private booths. Service was simply incredible. The maitre'd was extremely friendly, we were seated immediately, and our waiter cared for us as if we were good friends of his, including carefully timing... More
