Good olé Capital Grille

Great restaurant. They all continue to be consistently good in service and food. Right across the street from the Fairmont Olympic

Was able to get in right away at a small table in the back, right under a Jimi Hendrix portrait. Little chilly at the spot, because of a draft. Food was good. Mine was a little different than the wife's , steak wise. I ordered steak and lobster tails. Steak alone is MUCH better! Service was pretty good overall. Wine... More

I frequent CG locations around the US. This one is about average. Don't get me wrong, its a great meal with great service! However, the overall experience was just average for the chain. Highly recommend the lobster bisque!

Food was very good...pricey but you'd expect that in downtown Seattle. Wait staff had tasted most of the entrees and other items which was helpful. Recommend you stick with steak or seafood offerings.

I was a host in a panic when I called to say I needed space for a flexible group of 13-20 that night (a Tuesday). Was I in luck! Private room. Check. Flexible seating and flexible attitude to support my uncertain situation. Check. Great food and service. Check. Check. Check. Totally relaxed as one of three total hosts and the... More

Great food, Great Service! Pricey but worth it. Don't be scared to bring the kids...they do plates for children, just no printed menu. My 12 year old daughter stated "the best sliders anywhere!". My scallops cooked to perfection and the dessert was sublime! Wine list is extensive and a great selection of local brews as well. Also, check out the... More

We have eaten at Capital Grille's in many major cities across the country. However, this was the first with a summer wine flight! All the wine came from vineyards owned by women. I was very impressed. We will be ordering at least three of the wines for our cellar once the weather cools and they can be shipped. (We were... More

Had a lovely long meal here. My husband and I decided to order the Generous Pour, a flight tasting of California wines created by women. We lingered over several courses and the quality of the wines was delightful! It is indeed a generous pour, as I could not finish all my wines. Our steaks were just average however, and in... More

Capital Grille seeks to capitalize has trappings of an old-time steakhouse. We found the food to be fine, but short of an easily imagined higher level. The French onion soup, for example, came in a massive, cheese-encrusted crock, but missed the high notes. It happened to be lukewarm, a rarity. The rib-eye was wonderful but again, not quite there with... More

I only had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful bar at the Seattle Capital Grill, but a time I will remember. The staff was extremely warm and friendly and the cocktails were made and presented in a sophisticated fashion. Also enjoyed some snacks at the bar while taking in the great atmosphere. Next time I will have dinner
