A lovely steak house

We were quite wowed by our visit to this restaurant. We had dinner there before the symphony. The restaurant space is lovely and most seating seems to be private booths. Our first visit here was wonderful! Capital Grille was a place we told friends not to miss when in Seattle. Then we had a couple experiences that made us not go there when visiting. Last night we decided to give it another try... First off, the wine list is presented to you on an iPad. That was interesting and fun... More

My son and I met in Seattle for an awards ceremony related to his work. I used to take clients to The Capital Grill in Chicago and thought this place would be great to celebrate. We each ordered steaks and a couple of sides..."Mac 'n Cheese", and roasted Brussel Sprouts with Applewood Smoked bacon bits. Both were delicious but I... More

This was an excellent evening, we were in Seattle for a conference and happened on this restaurant looking for a good steak. Capitol Grille is pricey like the other big steak houses but the food and service was better. Initially our server had a problem opening our wine, she had to strain it for cork residue and I didn't say... More

The service is wonderful, and the food is excellent. in addition to their main menu, the offer a pre-show menu if you have theater tickets to make sure you get a delicious meal and are out in plenty of time to get to your seats. But do t think for a minute that you're getting anything sub-par! Everything was perfectly... More

This was a company function for dinner. We had a small private room for about 14 people. Started out with appetizers, calamari and prosciutto wrapped cheese with some wine. Lovely.. Most of us had steak, since they are known for it. I had a wonderful bone in ribeye cooked perfectly medium rare called the Delmonico, porcinni crusted. We shared some... More

Came here for a business dinner with colleagues. Not sure I could have done this for a family dinner but the food was very good, the wine was nice (and reasonable). The service is 'white table cloth' and attentive. I would recommend smart-casual dress here. One of my colleagues felt a bit too casual but no one from the restaurant... More

There are many excellent steak restaurants we weren't expecting anything more than a quick meal to hold us over. We were pleasantly surprised with both the service and the food. We ate at the bar since we didn't have a reservation, the tables looked quite full, it was a Saturday night, but I think they could have fit us in... More

that alone does it for us, but tasty mains and attentive intelligent service was a plus! Caesar salad is better at Nando's but steak was very good.
