Decent burger in South Lake Union

Staying at the spring hill suites hotel about 3 blocks away, the dining choices are limited. Lunchbox Lab is a great restaurant with an extensive menu and a decent selection of local draft beers. Delicious shakes, fast service, and friendly staff.

We are in town on vacation and I was looking for a craft burger joint to have a wonderful burger. This place looked appealing online. I found it to be just okay. The chipotle mac-n-cheese was okay, not the greatest. Our burger that we shared was good and juicy. The salad they served us came with brown lettuce. And the... More

Very limited options within walking distance of hotels in this part of town and they take advantage of this as the prices are expensive for what you get.

They make good burgers, good shakes, good drinks. But the thing you must have is the onion rings with Jalapeno ranch dip. Even my husband who does not like onion rings loves these things.

I saw this place on one of the cooking shows. It looked interesting; so I sought it out when I was in Seattle. The burgers are very creative. They all sounded great on the menu. It was a difficult decision, but the dork burger sounded unique. It was duck and pork and delicious. They have a decent selection of draught... More

I got the famous Dork burger and it was amazing!! They have awesome food that is different and well worth it! The drinks and shakes are very interesting too and they are soo very good!! I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for some affordable quirky diner food!

Before my trip to Seattle, I'd done some research... And all the research pointed to the same location: The Lunchbox Laboratory. I knew I simply *had* to go here during my stay in Seattle. The burger was huge, and absolutely superb, perhaps one of the best burgers I can remember. Nice place, make sure to go here if you're in... More

I had heard of this place in passing and thought it was only open for lunch. We decided to check it out online one evening because we were heading to the area. It's not just a lunch place! They are a full-service restaurant with make your own burgers and adult beverages. It's in a newer mixed use building in the... More

Very good appetizers, "gourmet" burgers, & shakes, but you pay for the privilege of eating them. It was quite a bit more than I was expecting to pay for this type of food. Great-tasting? Yes. Expensive? Also yes.
