Good food, large portions, good service. The menu is broader than what you might expect for a place with less than a 1,000 residents. There are not a lot of tables here, so prepared to be early or be prepared to wait. Waiting can be quite amusing, during the summer season, there is a regular flow of cruise ship passengers... More

We've eaten twice and the food was great both times and the service excellent. Will definitely eat here again if we ever get back to Skagway.

Locals were so friendly. They chat about the weather, population (baby just born) and family. Just the kind of place one wishes still existed back home. Always have a big breakfast before attempting to hike around the area. We had the Scramble eggs with hash browns, sausage and toast plus the Chicken Fried Steak with sausage gravy. All so filling,... We stopped here for breakfast before heading north on the Klondike Hwy. I had the eggs benedict and my husband had scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns. We both thought our meals were very good. Very homey cafe.

Everything appeared to be made fresh including the fries and the bread. Grilled cheese for 6.75 and the beef / french dip was excellent with home made chicken soup and fresh cut fries. I would go back if in town again.

If it is great food at a reasonable price (for Alaska) and wonderful service, eat here for lunch. The food was very good, plentiful and service attentive to our every need. They came around more than once to ask about drink refills. For desert we got the home made rhubarb desert which was excellent. We noticed they close around 2... More

Homey and warm, with delicious breakfast choices. Everything was cooked to our desired tastes. Eggs over medium or over-easy!

We ate breakfast here - eggs, bacon, etc. The waitress was really moving - keeping up with coffee refills and such. Food was good too. We'd eat there again (and again and again...)

This is a small cafe on the main shopping street in skagway. It's got Great service and good food but it is small so you have to wait for a table sometimes. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. They close at 2 I believe .

Ordinary breakfast food, something for everyone, all the usual favorites. The hash browns were especially excellent.
