Pleased with our visits

While in Skagway, we chanced upon the "Sweet Tooth Cafe" for lunch and both of us were very pleased with our meals. The next morning, we returned for breakfast and again enjoyed what we were served. The food was hot and the service was fast. If we are ever again in Skagway, we'll choose to eat... read more

We ordered halibut sandwiches, and the waitress recommended the fresh fish, rather than the frozen fish. It was $3 more, but definitely worth it! We have an almost-two-year old daughter, and the staff was wonderful with her!

Nothing "Sweet" about this café. Slow service and $$$ for grilled cheese and overcooked hamburgers. Not a dessert in sight.... strange name for a restaurant. I would skip it.

Basic good breakfast. Not fancy but good food and service. Appeared to be a favorite local spot, which makes the experience all the better.

Great place for breakfast. Open early. Efficient and friendly. I believe this to be a local, open-year-round store, one of the very few in Skagway.

This was just an average café, we got some sandwiches because we were starving. Service kind of slow, and well, average. What was amazing, was the chocolate pecan brownie, very big, dark chocolate, full of big nuts... yum!!!

We had a nice lunch here. The place has a diner feel and the seating lines two walls with the service area in the middle. Our server was warm, friendly and attentive. We both chose soup of the day and salad and we shared a grilled chicken sandwich. The vegetable soup was very good with lots of flavor - I’d... More

Good place for a sandwich or soup. The broccoli cheddar soup was disappointing. The salad only used iceberg lettuce. The town was crowded and the better restaurants had a wait. There was a reason we walked in and got a table right away.

We spent four days in Skagway and during that time ate at the Sweet Tooth Cafe twice- -once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was good and the prices were reasonable (for Alaska). The problem we had both times was the service. We had the same server both times and, although she was not directly rude to us,... More

We visited in June 2015 and found the food and service great. Nice friendly Café and would go back again even if it is a long way away from New Zealand
