on a chilly rainy afternoon the excellent chowder really hit the spot. we also had halibut and chips. the halibut was very good, tartar sauce was even better. i asked the portion size of the halibut. i have to say that i was surprised to hear that it was 4-1 ounce pieces of halibut. to me it seemed like halibut... My wife and I thought this was the best seafood we had while in Alaska. We had lunch here and plan to eat dinner here as well.

As a single person, I was told I had to sit at the bar to dine. Although 5 tables were empty on a rainy Sat night. I had walked the equivalent of 11 blocks to specifically dine here. I work seasonally in Skagway in a tour operation. As part of our ending presentation to our guests, we discuss the town.... More

Was there to have a nice seafood dinner, the menu does not have a big selection at all. Order the shrimp basket, was not a basket at all, was five jumbo shrimp lightly battered with fries for almost $17 US. Another one of our party had Shrimp sauteed in garlic butter, but you have to peel them your self, was... More

We will definitely go again next time we are in Skagway. Delicious and fresh. The cobb salad and king crab and fish and chips were all delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The prices were surprisingly low, especially for the high quality. Chowder? yes please.

The service lacked quality. So thus the 4 stars. The guy working there had no character and was on and off sarcastic /rude... However you go to restaurants for food and man... Was the food ever Unreal. I got the King crab bisque and the stuffed halibut. Probably one of the better meals I've had while living in the Alaskan... More

The staff at this place are really efficient and friendly...from the hostess that seats you to the bartender to the waitstaff! The food is excellent. We had the Sunday brunch menu and had the halibut and chips, the shrimp and chips, chocolate thunder cake (omg, to die for), the cheesecake, and the clam chowder. Everything we ordered was delish!! So... More

Great place for lunch. It was delicious! The chowder and cobb salad with crab was the best. A good variety of food and the price was not too expensive (for Alaska).

This place was recommended by the cruise director from our ship. He said it was the best fish & chips. He was right. The fish was halibut and it was fresh. The batter was light and not oily at all. Very tasty. The chips were good as well and the service was very good.

While shopping in Skagway we asked where to get the best fish and chips in town, and we were directed here. It was very convenient as it was within walking distance of the pier where our ship was. It ranked up there with some of the best halibut and chips we've had, and we're rather picky. It was a very... More
