Located on the cusp of the residential and business district, we have two dining rooms (Main Dining which is in same room as the Bar and more lively; and the Red Room--a bit more quiet and dark) and seating at the bar, with a small outdoor covered patio. The Brewery Gift Shop is connected to both dining rooms. Our Game Room with Foos Ball, Shuffle Board and a Pool Table is located directly above the Gift Shop. In the evenings sporting events are shown on the projector screen.

Great spruce bud beer

Unique great quality beer, even the take out bottle we got was a curse jug. Didn,t have high hopes, but as it was recommended and the high natural vitamin c intriguing. Taste was wonderfully different and enjoyed by four people with different palates.

I was unfortunately outvoted by the other 3 folks in our little group who had a fascination with The Red Onion Saloon. so we had dinner there. It was ok, but with all I heard about the Sitka spruce beer, I just had to try it. So off we went after dinner, solely to appease me. I so wished we... More

We stopeed in Skagway during our cruise and wanted to find a local brewery to sample their beers. We asked some local folks and they sent us to the Skagway Brewery. The beer was smooth and too easy going down. Not very hoppy which was good for me. My favorite was the spruce Tip Ale. The brewery was crowded but... More

There isn't a lot open in Skagway in April but luckily Skagway Brewery is. We had their special of the day which was prime rib French dip. It was the best French dip we've ever had. It came with home cut fries that were really good too. We had their IPA and brewed root beer (the root beer is not... More

On a day trip to Skagway, I visited the Skagway Brewing Company twice...the beer and food is that good! My boyfriend and I first stopped by for lunch. There was a bit of a crowd and wait but it was worth it. We sat at the bar and both ordered the Spruce Tip Blonde as well as the smoked salmon... More

Skagway brewing co is a very busy American food restaurant with some great beer brewed on site. The food is good and good selection, friendly staff, the beer is a must. Try the sampler if unsure but the Spruce tip ale is rather nice, be aware towards the end of the cruise ship season selection of beer diminishes.

We had grilled halibut, but the salmon was just a bit dry and tasteless. Salad was excellent. Margarita was over $10, thought that was expensive for about 8 oz of drink.
