Located on the cusp of the residential and business district, we have two dining rooms (Main Dining which is in same room as the Bar and more lively; and the Red Room--a bit more quiet and dark) and seating at the bar, with a small outdoor covered patio. The Brewery Gift Shop is connected to both dining rooms. Our Game Room with Foos Ball, Shuffle Board and a Pool Table is located directly above the Gift Shop. In the evenings sporting events are shown on the projector screen.

Great Service and Tasty Food

There isn't a lot open in Skagway in April but luckily Skagway Brewery is. We had their special of the day which was prime rib French dip. It was the best French dip we've ever had. It came with home cut fries that were really good too. We had their IPA and brewed root beer (the root beer is not... read more

On a day trip to Skagway, I visited the Skagway Brewing Company twice...the beer and food is that good! My boyfriend and I first stopped by for lunch. There was a bit of a crowd and wait but it was worth it. We sat at the bar and both ordered the Spruce Tip Blonde as well as the smoked salmon... More

Skagway brewing co is a very busy American food restaurant with some great beer brewed on site. The food is good and good selection, friendly staff, the beer is a must. Try the sampler if unsure but the Spruce tip ale is rather nice, be aware towards the end of the cruise ship season selection of beer diminishes.

We had grilled halibut, but the salmon was just a bit dry and tasteless. Salad was excellent. Margarita was over $10, thought that was expensive for about 8 oz of drink.

One of the few places that is open year round to residents. The fish and chips is quite good and they have daily specials. Alcohol is not cheap and a pitcher of the Spruce Tip will set you back $20. However, the tiramisu is amazing and totally worth it!. They also fill growlers.

If you want to eat and chill where the locals go for a beer after work this is the place. One of my favorite things about this place was all the different local beers they have on tap. They also have a little gift shop where you can buy Skagway brew co shirts.

Skagway was a one day stop on our cruise. We ate lunch here on the advice of the cruise shopping director. The food was good, but the beer flight was even better. I tried the spruce tip beer based on the advice of the waitress, and it was fantastic. I liked it so much, we went back that afternoon, after... More

We ate here twice during our stay in Skagway, and both times the service was efficient and the food was very good. They have some vegetarian selections, which made one of my daughters happy, but the other four of us enjoyed various meat products. Atmosphere is noisy, and could be distracting with young children (hence my average rating for families);... More
